Stupidity shouldn't mean death. Just zoo-like containment.

really don't like either of them, but Linkin Park are better.

Well I hate both, but the lesser of two evils would be Linkin Park.

i feel bad for this poor kid.:(

can't you all see he obvously has it hard enough as is!!!?

(both bands are the worst band ever.)

Hate me if you want, but I don't mind Linkin Park. I don't think I've ever heard a Fall Out Boy song though.

I wonder if anybody is going to post that they really love either of these bands. If not than I have more faith in humanity than I did before.

I'd actually say Fall Out Boy is better...they may suck, but at least you don't constantly have to argue with there fans about whether they're "deep" and have "meaningful" lyrics or not...Linkin Park are the Backstreet Boys with a DJ and guitar, and yet no one hears it, even after "In the End"

although you spelled both wrong, i think fall out boy is too pop, and linkin park used to be a favorite of mine, so they get my vote

I'd actually give that honor to Good Charlotte, who are nothing more than a punk boy band. All three bands suck.

I fixed the poll, I fixed the thread title. Now, quit picking on the less fortunate. He tried his best.

That's what I've always thought. In fact, I began losing my faith in Guitar World as a reputable guitar magazine when they began to feature Good Charlotte. I realized that they were trying to pander to all the middle school kids whose parents bought them way too expensive guitars. Linkin Park does have certain boy band elements though I must say.

Except that only like 2 of them sing... one raps while the other screams... and the lyrics have nothing to do with bad metaphors for romance or sex.

I really don't get all the hate on 'emo' music. Life does suck. Music is part of the therapy to overcome that. I want to scream at the top of my lungs and have a good cry because my entire family are *******es, that's my business. Music is supposed to evoke an emotional response.

You can do that without sounding like a whiny little *****. That's what grunge music was.

I've never heard of Fall Out Boy, so I'll vote Linkin Park

Look I'm emo, cut cut cut, cry cry cry, I'm gonna go write on my live journal about how much I hate my life cause my dad grounded me when he found out I was failing math, cut cut cut...god I hate EMO people, and there music...

I have a few really awesome issues of Guitar World. I used to have one with a whole story on Jimmy Page. I can't find it, but it was so awesome.

But yes, they suck now because their target audiences are kids my age (15) who think that if a song is played on the radio and because it's popular, it's automatically good, but do not care about whether it has any substantial artistic value.

Yeah, I subscribed to GuitarWorld for a few years and there were some awesome issues that I still have. But for every good one there was an equally crappy one I think.

Well, I didn't subscribe to it, but I do have a few issues. My favorite, which I no longer have, was an interview with Keith Richards celebrating the 40th anniversary of The Rolling Stones, and it was fabulous. One of the best things I've ever read.
