The Joker said:I'd actually say Fall Out Boy is better...they may suck, but at least you don't constantly have to argue with there fans about whether they're "deep" and have "meaningful" lyrics or not...Linkin Park are the Backstreet Boys with a DJ and guitar, and yet no one hears it, even after "In the End"
ANTHONYNASTI said:I'd actually give that honor to Good Charlotte, who are nothing more than a punk boy band.

KingOfDreams said:That's what I've always thought. In fact, I began losing my faith in Guitar World as a reputable guitar magazine when they began to feature Good Charlotte. I realized that they were trying to pander to all the middle school kids whose parents bought them way too expensive guitars. Linkin Park does have certain boy band elements though I must say.

ANTHONYNASTI said:I have a few really awesome issues of Guitar World. I used to have one with a whole story on Jimmy Page. I can't find it, but it was so awesome.
But yes, they suck now because their target audiences are kids my age (15) who think that if a song is played on the radio and because it's popular, it's automatically good, but do not care about whether it has any substantial artistic value.
KingOfDreams said:Yeah, I subscribed to GuitarWorld for a few years and there were some awesome issues that I still have. But for every good one there was an equally crappy one I think.
