Which new take on a character did you enjoy the most in 2016?

As more and more comic book movies and TV shows come out each year, there are more and more interpretations of characters who were already in a comic book film. Which new take did you enjoy the most?

(I didn't include Deadpool for...obvious reasons)

I haven't watched the second season of Daredevil yet, to chime in on the Punisher. I fully expect him to be amazing. But I actually thought Thomas Jane was ok, and the Punisher is not exactly one of my favorite characters so even if he is leaps and bounds better than what came before him, my answer would probably still be Spider-Man.

The Punisher and Spider-Man are the two standouts to me. I went with Punisher based on that he had much more to do than Spider-Man.

I don't think this place is visited frequently by DCEU supporters. It's for people who made a vow to not visit JL board as long as Snyder has ANYTHING to do with DCEU.

TBS, there's plenty to like about the new Batman. I love Affleck in the role, I love how he looks, fights. I love the grumpiness. But killing Superman and killing criminals in cold blood (plus that glorious Snyder explanation)...

I'm like 2 seasons behind on AOS. So I can't comment on Ghost Rider, but wow has Marvel turned around Daredevil, Punisher and Elektra from where they were in 2003, 2004 and 2005.

Now Spider-Man.

Just give them Fantastic Four.
