I'd go with the 'Recent' style of Venom - He should truely be a monster, while yes his symbiote mimics Spidey's black suit, it shouldnt just be an exact copy only with jaw full of teeth. He should be a complete monster.

Did anybody else find it weird that they gave the Black Spider-Man from the 90s toon organic webbing? What was that all about? It WOULD make sense in the film if he did, but it didn't to me in the show.

^Yeah, it was that way in the comics with the black suit too...the symbiote enhances its wearers abilities and powers...peter parker of the cartoon stated that the spider gave him the knowledge with which he made the web fluid and shooters, the alien symbiote just took that knowledge and created its own

i don't understand why they just didn't make him have organic web in the comics, instead of web shooters in the first place. i never did like that. i mean he gained all the powers of the spider, except for that. i'm glad the movie went in the direction of organic web.

What if we had a progressively evolving Venom throughout the film? That is, when Brock first gets the symbiote, he's basically black Spidey with teeth. As the movie progresses and the symbiote increasingly bonds to Brock, he gets bigger and more monster-like, culminating with the big drippy tongue by the final battle?

I really prefer the early Venom, but this could a neat angle.

Bad spelling makes a terrible idea worse. Of course Venom will having webbing.

As for how, the only problem with the comics black costume webbing is that Peter already has organic spinnerets on one side of his wrists. I wouldn't particularly mind if he kept his usual web scheme and then Venom's webs fired from the top of the wrists. Once the symbiote has absorbed the ability to make webs, the location of Pete's spinnerets is irrelevant.

he's got to have web. maybe not like peters web. like Cinemaman said, maybe his web will be a blackish color, maybe even like a dark dark purple.
