I don't think Venom is gonna be very large or why would the have casted Topher Grace as Eddie Brock , sure , the symbiote could add some size to him but I don't think it will be much , I do suppose his size could fluctuate as he gets madder, kinda like the Hulk did in his movie , which was kinda stupid

I'm not sure if you played Ultimate Spider-Man but, in the game eddie was pretty scrawny (Not as much as Peter but...) and when he got transformed, it looked good.

Eddi was about the size of the guy that Venom is consuming (He didn't get much taller but he gained alot of weight). I thin what might also happen is that at the end of SM3, Brock will have the symbiote. Between SM3 & SM4, I think Raimi will make Topher work out ALOT. Kind of like in the SPider-Man animated series (Eddie got the alien and started working out like crazy because of his rage against Spidey).

I think the early 90s variation - the one characterized by the tongue and green slime saliva - has become the standard.

I think the original is the best model to be adapted to the screen, however.

I'd say its an almost definite chance we'll be seeing a McFarlane-style Venom in here... the design is simple, practical, iconic, and has none of the overdone features of later variations, which would just look cartoony onscreen.

Of course, he'll probably be skinnier than McFarlane's Venom was, and we might see a tongue flicker out a couple times, but I think either way its probably a good starting point for what to expect.
