The Dark Knight Rises Which villians are MOST LIKELY to appear?

There are plenty of threads in this forum about which villians people would like to see in the next one, or who they'd like to see tackle their favorite villian...but what about which ones are most likely to appear? Nolan isn't a conventional filmmaker (this is assuming he returns) and without a direct hint like we had at the end of Batman Begins, he could really go anywhere after The Dark Knight. So what villian do you think Nolan would pick based on where we think the story is headed and what themes might be tackled? Based on the FACTS we have so far, the quotes we've gotten...what is the most likely candidate at this point?

My predicts are Bane and Talia Al Ghul. I'll explain later.

Catwoman and Riddler then, even though I don't care for Riddler.

If Riddler does appear it shouldn't be because the public wants him. That doesn't always work out. See Venom in Spider-man 3.

It must be because Nolan wants to use him for a story to tell.

The Joker failed and is in Arkham, so in the 3rd one maybe the mob hires BANE!!!...He breaks Batman's back in the middle of the movie,(giving Bruce another reason to get a newer,better suit) Bruce makes a new Suit to help him move around again, Comes back in the end, defeats bane, finally triumphs over the mob and puts an end to a lot of the crime allowing him to "retire" as Gotham no longer needs Batman.I think it would be a good ending for the trilogy.Batman finally triumphant.

I know Bane isnt that well known so maybe he gets help from The Riddler to help him figure out who Batman is and then breaks into the Batcave, ultimately leaving him crippled.So when Bruce recovers , he does detective work, gets Riddler to squeel Banes location and gets his Payback.

Bane could be played by maybe WWE wrestler Batista or something. And my pick for riddler is Steve Buscemi.

It's not just Bane with this problem.

There is a section of fandom which only thinks the people needed to play the roles is looking like the characters.

Rourke would make a great Bane.

I honestly see Riddler and one more, bigger, badder villain coming in. Most likely Freeze or Bane.

And I agree 100% with Mickey Rourke for Bane... I think it'd just be weird seeing him with this cast. But who knows, we thought the same about Ledger too.

That's exactly why I can see Nolan casting him. Like Ledger, it's sort of out of left field. If Rourke were to get an Oscar nom it'd be even more possible.

Anarky would work well in Nolan's movies.

That would actually work very very well, specifically as the character arising as a reaction to the Joker.

Bane could work IMO.

It doesn't matter that he fought Bane later in his career or that he had the Bat family to help him out.

They don't need to follow the Knightfall story exactly. They don't need to adapt most of it.

He's the closest mainstream villain the public thinks is a Joker clone.

They don't realize he can be much more then that, especially with Nolan.
