The Dark Knight Who Are You Watching The Dark Knight With?

I'm going to treat my little brother the first time I go see it. The day before it comes out, I'm going to sit with him and watch Begins a few times so he knows whats going on.

I'm going with some of my closest friends and hopefully with my brother and my cousins. We're going to the IMAX baby!!!!

Im going to the King of Prussia IMAX in Philly. One of the theaters that held the prologue preview. Tell me if your going!

With my puppy dog Pete! He's wearing a Batman suit and I got dibs on Joker, we're so psyched!

I'll probably go with my dad. He's the first one who introduced me to Batman by buying me the '89 Tim Burton film on VHS. Ever since then, it's been a tradition for us to see the Batman films together.

I've had much trouble getting him to go to some movies the past year or so, too much trouble considering I get free movies, but I'm sure The Dark Knight will get him into that theater seat.

my wife & kids..id like to bring my mom as she introduced me to the world of comics & the dark knight. THANKS MOM!!!!!!!!!

I am forcing my sis to go and I have a friend that is sorta into TDK so he might go too.

Im probably gonna take my girl there for her birthday. She's crazy about the Joker.

I've promised I would go with several different people opening night who don't like each other so getting everyone together won't go well... so I dunno what I'll do now ..lol .. I guess I'll go see it at a midnight showing and tell those people I am sick and can't go on opening night :p

My twin sister and I are definitely going to see it.;) I'm going to try to convince my parents to have us (including them, since they're kind of interested in it, my dad a bit more than my mom) go to the midnight showing, and they said my sister and I can put on the Joker make-up when we go see it. :D I know one friend who's really excited about seeing the movie, maybe I can try go seeing it with him... :)

Going to see it on Imax the first time with my gf two of my sisters and most likely one of my best friends.

and whoever else wants to meet us there

if I watch it here in my city, then I'll watch with my friends.
if I watch in another city, then it'll be with my family.

I'll be seeing it in IMAX on opening day with my gf and a massive group of friends (I think everyone is anxious to see if they can spot me running around in the
hospital evacutation
scene).
Sadly (maybe) I am going to have to see TDK 5 times in theaters. It is a progression thing with me and Nolan. I saw Memento twice, Insomnia twice, Batman Begins three times and The Prestige four times. :wow::woot:

I´m currently seeing a girl who happens to like action movies, so my hopes are up...

Well I was going to go with this girl I know, we were even gonna get all painted up. But then she got pregnant, not by me, and just had her baby a few months ago. Unfortunately, we hadn't gotten any costume work done, so I would be left trying to find costumes for two people. And she's moving away soon, so I'll probably end up seeing by myself, or with a buddy from high school. Either way, I want to to walk into theater, up to the ticket counter, and say,

"Can I get two tickets for the first showing of TDK, and one ticket for every showing after that please?"

Freaky as it may be, when I found out about Heath's passing, I promised I would save him a seat at the first showing. Out of... respect.

I miss ya, Heath. :hoboj:

Edit: "Sadly (maybe) I am going to have to see TDK 5 times in theaters. It is a progression thing with me and Nolan. I saw Memento twice, Insomnia twice, Batman Begins three times and The Prestige four times."

I feel ya dude. I saw Spider-Man 5 times in theaters (awesomely enough, the most I ever paid to see it was $2.00 at a discount theater, all other times $$ was provided)

I saw Begins 5 times, and was going to see it a 6th, but the day I had planned to see it was the day after the theater dropped it. Always wanted to break my SM record, but can't seem to find the time to do

I'm having trouble convincing my friends to go. A lot of them are 1) Batfans 2) Extremely psyched for TDK, but don't really feel like going to the midnight showing, much less in costume/makeup. Sigh. I too, have a taste for the theatrical, as it were, and would love to have a themed group with me, but organizing one seems to be harder than pulling teeth.

Any Austin-area clowns want to hit the theaters up at midnight?

scratch my last post, after much thought..i've decided that this movie will be an experience that i want to go through alone :)
