The Dark Knight Rises Who Dies?

I've been thinking about this and the only conclusion that I can come up with is that someone-a person with certain importance has to die! It was inevitable that Rachel would die, but for this film, it's still up in the air in who has to die, and someone DOES HAVE TO DIE!

So who is it...

Um i dunno I would think that if this last film is the last nolan is going to direct---maybe batman dies to end the Nolan trilogy. But i dont want him to die lol

I honestly felt that Batman himself would die, sacrificing himself to save Gotham City. No, its not true to the comics, but for the universe Nolan has created, it'd make a certain amount of sense.

The killing off characters aspect has already been done in TDK and I sure as hell don't want the third film to be some cheap re-hash of TDK.

But theoretically speaking, I think Lucias Fox should be killed off. So the aspect of Batman creating Gadgets all by himself should explored.

Also, I hate the idea of Batman's death.

I'd love the idea of Batman deciding to be Bruce no more, it could make good cinema, but I don't think that it would be right for the 3rd film. Cause if Nolan returns to do the film, he'd most likely wrap up his tenure on the Batman franchise and I think the ending will most likely be more akin to the one in BB.

I dont believe Alfred or Gordon will die... i think Batman will "die" or "disappear" and then appear again like in the ending of FrankMiller's TDKR...

I voted that Batsy would die figuratively, but now that I think about it, I dont see that happening. I see Nolan ending his trilogy with Gotham on the rise, and there be little need for Bats, but he remains active to keep things going positively with HOPES that he will no longer be needed in the future..
