We know the X-Men films haven’t been death free and something that could get some impact would be the phoenix killing someone.

If anyone, who do you think could be on the chopping block?

Who should die? Mystique
Who has more chances to die? Kurt, Storm, Jubilee or Psylocke

Kurt and Storm definitely not.

Jubilee off screen like Emma, and Psylocke on screen. Maybe Moira off screen too.

I'd like Beast to die. He is useless and nothing like Hank at all. Also, i wouldn't miss Raven.

I think they should take a leaf out of Avengers VS X-Men storyline and kill off Xavier, but make Jean Gray Phoenix kill her, like Scott Summers did.

You mean like X-men 3 already did? I hope not.

Hopefully Kinberg avoids his mistakes of X3 and doesn't have Jean kill any of her teammates. I wouldn't be surprised if they had Mystique heroically taking a bullet for her or something.

They're not going to kill Raven or Eric. Even if Lawrence decide not to come back. They're not going to close that door for good. With small character seen as irrelevant for them like Psylocke, Jubilee and possibly Dazzler, that's another story.

As sick as I am of watching Raven, Eric and even Charles, I don't want any of them to die at all. I'd rather see them taking a break, or having their own spin-off like Brotherhood.

A spin off film Brotherhood would still be catering to Erik and Raven. Anyway, they need to retire these two characters. Raven isn't has as essential to the X-Men in the comics as Angel, Emma, Psylocke, Rogue, Iceman, Kitty, Bishop and even Polaris. While Magneto is a villain turned ally in the comics and yet he wasn't included in very relaunch/roster since then.

The logic you presented (some characters are not as essential as others, hence they need to go) is the same logic they used to get rid of Emma, Alex, Banshee and Warren. They just didn't use the comics as a base.

So do these characters need to take a break? Hell yes! Do they need to be killed off and gone for good? Hell no.

I didn't say they need to be kill off. Be gone, sure why not. Anyway, Logan/Older Xavier weee killed after 9 movies. If Erik and Raven get killed, they won't be a loss to the series especially when a lot of people are tired of seeing them again and again when the actual X-Men serve as wallpapers. Unless Fox fail to develop a good story for the others. Also, this will be their 7th non cameo role in the series, that's a big much when you consider the actual X-Men appearing in fewer movies and smaller roles.

And don't compare me to Fox killing Emma, as Emma was an underdeveloped character unlike Raven and Erik.

I am more than tired or Eric and Raven and I can't wait to see the films taking a break from them. But just because they got a lot of screentime over the years, doesn't mean they can go for good. There are still stories these characters can tell, and stories that relate to other characters. I still want to see Raven's relationship with both Kurt and Rogue eventually. So if she's gone for gone, it will certainly be a loss for me, because I care deeply for those characters and they won't be able to tell part of their story. In that case tho, I'd want to see Raven as a supporting character for their stories and not the other way around.

It's the same logic you presented.

most likely a black or blue character? I dunno, does anyone have to die in a movie? Wouldn't the title suggest someone would have to die and be reborn?
