Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Who is bloody hand man?

Conspiracy theory snack: someone yesterday pointed out that those X's in circles in the window of Bloody Hand Man are identical to the X-Men symbol. Almost impossible that Marvel Studios can actually tie in to Fox's X-Men, of course, but:

....know what else that X symbol looks like?

The Xs on the Kree armor of Ronan the Accuser in the GOTG trailer. (Same symbol also appears on the blue-skinned alien at TAHITI, which is where the Kree theory first began. Which is also a cat that Chloe Bennet inadvertently let out of the bag during a podcast.)

he's bald....like Hall... did Hall and Skye ever come face to face in that episode?

I doubt Hall is in the running here, since the last we saw of him was his face inside the gravitonium itself. He has in some fashion "become one" with the gravitonium, which is probably how they'll present Graviton to us next season.

I doubt the bleeding man is the Mandarin. If anything, I imagine he'll be a somewhat obscure villain, like Blackout.

It's Trevor, Trevor Slattery. After the Mandarin beat him to a pulp that's why he's bleeding!
:D I can do crazy out there speculation too!

I'd completely forgotten about that. I wonder if Skye's parents have ties to Ronan himself?

There's speculation on IMDB that it's Maximus the Mad.

Let's just say "allegedly" Skye's father for now....the executive producer (Bell) said in an interview last night that he "may or may not be Skye's father." Seems pretty suspicious that he's casting doubt on that angle.

Maybe even producers have no idea who is Skye

Rewatching seeds and agent that talked about Skye said agent that protected her had gunshot wound. He said agents were tortured, heads smashed etc

If I had to guess, Bloody Hand Man is an OC Inhuman, as will be Skye. Also, I still doubt that's blood. I suspect its some kind of ooze from his own body, resulting from his physical mutation.

There really isn't a whole lot to go on. We don't know if he was causing himself to bleed or if he was covered in the blood of something or someone else or if it was some naturally occurring thing for him etc. We don't even know if it is a comic character or a made up one (though it's probably a minor comic character like Garrett).

I think that it is reasonable to speculate on the broad concept of Inhumans though.

this is from costume/makeup call it whatever point of view.

Blood on that guy hand isnt made by bleeding (from cut, wound etc) but more from putting your hand in it or your hand being all the time covered with it smth like bloody slime

i'm pretty sure that Marvel doesn't have the rights to Mortal Kombat characters.

The most simple suggestions often bear fruit:
- look for a father/daughter relationship in the "secret warriors" era
- what character would slaughter an entire village to find his daughter (not necessarily for family bonding) and keep tracking her in the interim by torturing SHIELD agents?
- what character is validated by MCU's use of chemicals to enhance physical ability?
Mr Hyde

There's speculation on IMDB that it's Maximus the Mad.

Now that would be perfect.......
Skye can be a new Inhuman..... im fine with that..but if shes the daughter of Maximus the Mad.....
Perfect

I got a strong "Skye and Raina are Inhuman" vibe from so many lines in the episode, so I'd put the man down as Inhuman too

An unknown Inhuman.

Like the poster above me said it was clued like crazy in the dialogue of the season finale.

Skye's father and Season 2's Big Bad.

As for his identity, not sure. Presumably he (like Skye) is an Inhuman, but his appearance doesn't seem too "monst[rous]" - at least from the back? Maybe he is only a "monster" in the figurative sense, in which case he could be any of the normal-looking Inhumans from the comics.

There's an Inhuman named Geldhoff that has holes all over his body, but I seriously doubt they'd make him Skye's dad. Another (unlikely, but slightly more likely than Geldhoff) possibility is that he could be some sort of vampire. That would explain the monster line, the bit about darkness, and the blood, plus in the Marvel Universe vampires can have descendants that aren't necessarily true vampires. I don't think season 2 will be Agent Coulson the Vampire Slayer, though.

Is his first name Bob, and does he not like Mondays? :p

All credit to Hopeless for figuring this out, but I think he's got it nailed:

Bloody Hand Man is Edison Po.

Raina *certainly* knows him well.
Po is a Chinese name. Skye was born in China (Hunnan Province). Her actress, Chloe Bennet, is even half-Chinese.
Po is certainly a "monster." He's a Hannibal Lecter-type serial killer who was serving time for slicing someone open with a knife, then finishing his dinner.
Po doesn't like to be touched. Because he's alien/monstrous.
Po may not have even died, per se. All we saw was that some cellphone device "deactivated" him in a weird way (that was almost identical to what Obadiah Stane used on Raza in IM1, but that's another story).
Hell, the photo even looks like Cullen from behind.

99.9% sure mystery solved, thanks to Hopeless. In fact, *several* mysteries might have just been solved.

Who was Edison Po and when did he play previously on AOS?

He could be an Inhuman, or perhaps an alien like a Kree or a Skrull.

Who was Edison Po and when did he play previously on AOS?

He was the Centipede agent who tried to torture Coulson for information about his resurrection, but was unable to do so, so he was killed by the Clairvoyant for his failure.
