Who IS Red Robin? A non-burger mystery.

The guy who runs Arkham was killed by a doctor working for the Simon Hurt and they shot Dick up with drugs and threw him in to get him out of the way.

At the moment it's pretty much Tim verses the whole of the Black Glove and he did a good job of it last issue.

Well, that and to keep up the whole 'Destory everything in Batman's life, ah-hah' thing

Nobody knows, in RIP he's shown at Arkham, but in his own book I've heard that he's doing something with Two-Face at a point in time when he should still be locked away in Arkham(around time Bruce is taking up his new personality) and continuity-wise it makes no sense.

Thats what confused me because I read the two face stuff in Nightwing which is a tie-in but last time I remember seeing Dick he was shunted in arkham

Well, either there is actually something to that and that proves the theroy that Dick is, in fact, not the man locked up in Arkham soon to be without half a brain or it's just the writer's best attempt at trying to tie-in with RIP especially seeing as his title character is suppose to be drugged out in a straight jacket.

Yeah I wasn't questioning whether Peter David said that, just how anyone could possibly think that was anything less than the single greatest idea in comics history, and that DiDio is anything other than a raving madman for not wanting to publish such a comic.

y'know, for some reason when I was reading this thread earlier I completely missed the last two sentences of 04nbod's post. in my defense though Blonde Justice is a pretty crazy name for a comic so the question still fit.

red robin is clearly Damien, who was sent to the future, grew up in an alternate reality where annoying characters are cool and then get sent back in an alex ross costume to muck up the already inconceivably bad DC continuity. Only to end up joining the JSA so he can hangout with KC supes and join the Olympic diving team.
whats so confusing about that???

But I thought Damien was supposed to be that medieval-looking Batman from the future...

he's both. in the future he encounters himself, they move in together, start a small interior design firm. but when the relationship goes down the ****ter, one damien stays in the future as bald batman, and one comes back here.

I read somewhere that Anarky might show up in Nicieza's run so I think that sounds like as likely a choice as any.

I'm pulling for Red Robin to be Jean-Paul. I'd prefer him not to be Anarky, as it doesn't fit with either the anarcho-socialist version of him or the later objectivist version of him. He's not a straight vigilante. Still, I'd rather see Lonnie again than see anymore of ****ing Damian.

Does anyone hav a picture?

isn't Countdown out of continuity? should Jason even know that he was Red Robin?

maybe this Red Robin is Kingdom Come Dick Grayson.

It's in continuity and out of continuity. The writers can pay attention only to what they want to. Yeah, I thought that was bulls**t too.

I think it's just fine. If writers didn't give a **** when they were writing it, then writers don't have to give a **** about it after it's done.

As regards the continuity of the Nightwing issues, I think they might fit in with some brief moment between when Bruce really started feeling the pressure of the Black Glove, and when Dick was nailed.

reading that makes me think it's less valley and more kingdom come.

How do you figure? I mean he has no dialogue and only does one thing.

But he does it with such a Kingdom-Comey aura.

"Comey."

I don't think so, because Two-Face says something about Batman running around in his red and purple outfit. By that point, if I'm not mistaken, Dick should've already been put in Arkham.

That is possible or it's not really Dick in Arkham, but if that were the case I would think he would try to find Batman or something, not doing whatever he's doing with Two-Face.

I don't know for sure, I don't read Nightwing or anything, I'm simply going by what I've read elsewhere.
