Who Is The Better Betty?

Why maybe because this script just had better emotional scenes? but Liv actually played the early years, timid Betty Ross to the tee. She sold me on the fact that she had deep feelings for Bruce from the first scene when she sees him in at the restaurant. The chemistry between Norton and Liv was better than Bana and Connelly. The 'you're killing him' line sent chills up my spine. She was exceptional, especially watching that cave scene with the way she was talking to Hulk. My female friend even stated the love story was a good one.

I wish we could have gotten the Samson scenes to make the love triangle interesting.

i gotta go with Liv Tyler. she was so sweet and loving towards Bruce/Hulk. i swear, there were quite a few times my eyes actually teared up a little, due to the "love" you could feel from her.
plus, Liv looks great. haven't seen her for a while.

Jennifer just didn't really seem the part,just my opinion,but i didn't think was bad at it, i just think Liv was a little bit better.

I'm hoping that they will release the cut that Leterrier and Norton wanted to minutes of missing scenes. I read the screen play and a lot of it was character moments, that would have given more depth to certain characters.

Did anyone feel their eyes about to wail up a bit near the end when Betty is in front of the Hulk and tears are flowing down her face and the Hulk's expression turns from anger to sadness when he looks down upon her? Like...man... I sure I did.

Connelly is a better actress that was given a poor script. Her performances are generally very good, whereas Tyler's are generally just average. I think every change they made for the new movie was great except for Betty's casting choice.

Liv Tyler was better by far. Connelly is a great actress but you're only as good as your material and Liv had a better script to work with. I'm also very impressed with Liv's acting chops in this movie. She really surprised me. Bruce and Betty's love and chemistry elevated this movie for me.

yeah, i mean it's really easy to portray feelings for someone who you don't regret leaving, you don't wish he'd open up or without any sort of physical contact what so ever.

I mean ultimately, within 30 seconds of seeing the hulk, she was aware its bruce, that's some serious connection.

What's funny is that you think that your opinion is the right choice.

As I wrote in another thread, if you are serious and want to see what other unbiased movie goers are saying, go to another unbiased movie board. That is if you really want to know what the majority are saying and not just we Hulk fans and Hulk haters.

If theres a sequel, I hope she returns - although I think I read somewhere that she, and William Hurt are signed on for future hulk movies...Norton, however, isn't. That makes me worried.
