Tommy would be interesting as they could pull a Red Hood style story, but he's been dead so ling and there's no Lazarus pit it would be hard to work that one out.

Also, he would have no motive, and it'd require throwing out all his characterization. Basically peeing on the grave of the character by pretending an entirely new utterly unrelated monster is supposed to be the same guy.

Yeah, but isn't that the same thing with Red Hood? They come back from the dead with a characterisation completely out of sync with their previous one and we're supposed to buy it as them being twisted by their own death and resurrection?

Jason Todd was already an out of control punk with violence issues before he died. Not a huge leap to go full on Punisher. Tommy. . . was not that. He died trying to save lives after rejecting the evil within his family.

I feel like the writers forgot about Vigilante....

We haven't heard from him since his fight with Prometheus on the roof.

Well, he reappeared at the end of that episode for Diggle/Wild Dog/Curtis to fight. I think he's just gone to ground; he's done it before (there was a pretty big gap between his first two appearances S5E7 and, briefly, Flash S2E8 and his following appearance in S5E13). Then he appeared in S5E15, and that's the last we've seen of him.

Ever since they revealed Chase as Prometheus Vigilante hasn't really served a purpose, since it seems kinda clear that his main purpose was to misdirect the viewers from thinking Chase was Prometheus.

True. However, considering they said they know what his identity is (and that it's someone we already know), they obviously intend to use him again. But it is quite clear his whole purpose this season was to be a red herring.

Almost certainly his purpose was to be a red herring. Otherwise, it'd be too easy to guess who Prometheus was, simply from the dearth of options.

So um...did Prometheus kill Vigilante in their last fight? Because it looks like every single person on the show will be on the finale except him. Usually when someone that tough gets killed they make it more clear.

Vigilante would be pretty interesting if it turns out he's one of the former deceased or retired characters on the show.

I believe the producers said he's coming back next season. And his identity will be revealed as well.

He was in that episode after fighting Prometheus. He fought Diggle, Curtis, and Wild Dog. He's not dead. But it is odd that he's completely disappeared. His purpose truly was just to throw people off Chase's tail (since Chase was Vigilante in the comics and Vigilante's voice sounds a ton like Segarra's).

Seems like a strange thing to save for later, given how much they built the guy up. It's not like they didn't have time to tie up that loose end this season. 23 episodes not enough all of a sudden?

They will do let it be known who it is at the end of the this season to build on next season.

I bet it's Chase's twin brother. Too good of an actor to slip away.

They should definitely keep Segarra around if possible. And since there was a "Dorian Chase" Vigilante in the comics, the twin brother route is one I am definitely leaning toward, with "we've seen him before" being a clever play on words from the producers.

Ehhh. . . I like the actor fine, but "he has an identical twin" is really stretching things. If you want to have him show up on Earth-2 or whatnot, sure. His presence in the present on Arrow is almost certainly done after this season, though. Even if Ollie doesn't kill him, I think its vanishingly unlikely none of the others on Team Arrow, or Team Also-Villains, finish him off.

It's not a stretch if it was actually in the comics.

I still feel like the Prometheus version of Adrian Chase isn't really Adrian Chase. I think he assumed someone's identity as a way to get in close to Oliver. What better way than as the DA.

Well, we already know his real name is not Adrian Chase.

either dinah´s not so dead partner or thomas flynn ... does anyone remember that guy ?

Hey, let's not jump to conclusions now. Big Bad Prometheus was really Simon Morrison; Adrian Chase was just an alias. For all we know, Vigilante is the real Chase.

Vigilante could be the twin brother of Adrian Chase who goes by Dorian Chase, or he is the real Chase whose first name is Dorian while Adrian was just the name Simon Morrison came up with.

Does anyone think is possible that Vigilantly is Slade Wilsons son?

Does anyone think is possible that Vigilantly is Slade Wilsons son?

I mean, Joe Wilson could be in his 20s, hypothetically, since he was first mentioned on Lian Yu in S1, so 2007, and his age wasn't given. So that's possible. Grant Wilson, the one we see in LOT, isn't born yet that we know of (he only looked to be in his 20s in 2046). So if it is one of Slade's sons, it's Joe. But that would be weird and out of nowhere. Although I could see it being interesting, if done right.
