Homecoming Who Should Be The Love Interest?

Personally i'm sick of MJ give me Felicia Hardy its high time we see her make her debut or
no love interest at all which i'm completely fine with
Well, lucky for you she's been pushed aside in the comic books and media adaptations since 2007.

Emma Watson.

She'd be great

We haven't had MJ in Spider-Man films yet though, only MJINO :/

Nothing against Kirsten Dunst and the Sam Raimi films , but I agree.

What makes you think he is that person what proof is there

He say the same sorts of things and post in the same way as Spider-knight did. Other people notice it in other threads too. He famous troll who kept getting banned from here. I think that member is him and will be banned.

He was a troll who went mad when everyone criticized Marc Webb movies. He could never handle that most people not like them. He would call people names, and rant and get angry. Like what he say to me about not having any idea what Peter look like. That is very Spider-knight.

If I am wrong I will say sorry, but right now I have report your post so moderators will check and see if you are Spider-knight or not. Have to make sure because Spider-knight was the worst troll who should never be allowed post here again.

maybe it's because this whole twilight BS is ridiculous. of course people would be bothered by that.
I think the Twilight comparisons are ridiculous too, but I just don't let it bother me. There's no use getting worked up about it, lol.

Yeah, I think she did a great job, but Mary Jane in the series was a composite.

"Interwoven: The Women of Spider-Man" profiles Mary Jane (Kirsten Dunst), Aunt May (Rosemary Harris) and other female characters who are bigger in the comics than in the films.

Among them is Gwen Stacy, Parker's first big love, whose character was woven into Mary Jane's as a composite

Mary Jane has some traces of Gwen Stacy, flat-out stated by Word of God to be the case.

Spider-knight could never help himself. It the way he is. I think that definitely him now. He even make a score thread like last time he was here.

Apart from Gwen, Raimi clearly mixed in some Liz Allan as well (longtime crush, popular girl in Peter's highschool dating the school bully Flash Thompson, but coming to Peter's defense like that scene on the bus in SM1, etc.), and it's obvious that the Betty Brant/Ned Leeds dynamic influenced the MJ/John Jameson relationship in SM2.

From Betty's page on Marvel.com

Deeply insecure, Betty was often jealous of Peter's female friends, and she sometimes assumed that the oft-absent Peter was two-timing her, or had simply grown tired of her. Betty responded by dating Ned Leeds, a new reporter at the Bugle who only had eyes for her. For a time, Betty was romantically linked to both Peter and Ned while she tried to sort out her feelings. Eventually, a smitten Ned proposed marriage. Betty was still in love with Peter, but she craved the stability she thought Ned represented. While Betty stalled for time to make up her mind, Peter decided Betty would be better off without Spider-Man in her life and acted boorishly in an effort to drive her away altogether.

For the original trilogy, it made sense to mix Peter's silver age loves into one character, but now I'd like to see MJ as, well, just MJ.

Looks like you were right, he's been banned again.

Ooooooh I know, maybe Jane Foster, recently bitter from her break up with a God of Thunder, should get with Peter.

Black Cat should be without a doubt imo. She brings a completely different and edgier relationship to Spider-Man that we have not seen yet. Different things are to be learned between her and him when done correctly compared to his other love interests. She pushes him in a completely different direction then his other gals. Plus it's fun, since he can actually spend more time with her as Spidey. The adrenaline rush of a relationship like that also makes sense when he's in highschool and inexperienced with dating, when you can confuse what the other person is actually attracted to a bit more.

We need more female ass kickers (long over due) in Spidey's world as well, who can hold their own in a big fight. Only so much Gwen, Liz and MJ can do in a fight before Spidey has to save them. They can always start building others at the same time since it's a relationship that won't last.

I`m fine with them going with Black Cat if they transition from partners to enemies eventually. Like how TSSM set up its third season. No happy ending for Felicia.

I'd probably include Mary Jane, Gwen, and perhaps Liz Allan. Present them all as potential love interests without focusing on one just yet.

I know, I think they should scrap Mary Jane, and have it Gamora! That would be a relationship to liven things up again.

He's a teenage boy. Let any pretty face turn his head. Make him interested in Liz Allen (for diversity, you can go the Spectacular route and make her Hispanic) and Betty Brant (maybe a little older like 20 or 21). You can also throw Gwen Stacy in there as well. And Aunt May keeps mentioning Anna Watson's niece, but Pete keeps avoiding. But, he doesn't really get with anyone in the first movie.

In the second movie, he can get into a relationship with Gwen. Still have Aunt May wanting to set up Pete. Then, in the mid- or post credit sequence, have the classic, "Face it, Tiger. You just hit the jackpot!" scene.

Then in a later movie, after a properly introduced and motivated Green Goblin (Bryan Cranston) comes along, do a proper Night Gwen Stacy died. Then you can adapt the classic console scene from MJ.

Well I think Gwen needs a rest after the last two films, and as much as I'm a huge fan of MJ... I think it's time Black Cat got her moment to shine.

After getting Gwen/Peter in the last two films, and MJ/Peter in Raimi's Trilogy I think the studio heads are most likely going to avoid any heavy romance with Spider-Man for the time being.

I think it would be nice to see a sort of light flirtation between Felicia and Peter in the next film, and maybe after a few years we can have Peter eventually hook up with either MJ or Gwen... but coming off the death of Gwen in the last film it would probably be best to keep things light for the time being, instead of jumping into another heavy romance.

Just my opinion.
