That was a real missed opportunity. I was so looking forward to TASM2 having Peter going up against Massee as Norman / GG. Things didn't quite turn out how I'd hoped on that one

:csad:

True. Holland is 19, the oldest his villais and supporting characters should be(their actors I mean)is ten or 20 years older thanthat. With the exception of naturally older character like Toomes, Aunt May, Silvermane, and Ben.

Ya as much as I like Cranston he is older then we likely to get 35 to 45 yrs old range for norman to make having a late teen kid not seem to old and what not.

I was also thinking I said before for kraven I liked uded fuehr from the mummy films for kraven. But what about Karl urban.

Team Fehr for the win.

I'm sorry, but I've got to join those saying Cranston is too old. Mcaughnahey or Jason Isaacs all the way.

As for Kraven, accept no substitutes:

Dude I've watched Breaking Bad but people who want him for Goblin ALWAYS use this scene, is that the reason yall want him? Because that just makes me want himeven less in the role, what made that scene so impactful was how out of character and unusual it was. Cranston is better at playing intelligent, conning but emotionally driven characters. Which is why I would prefer him for Doc Ock. He also has comedict talent so he could play JJJ as well.

Jason Isaacs is my pick for Norman.

Another name I'd like to throw in for Vulture is Billy Bob Thornton.

He was already in Iron Man 3 though.

Chris Evans do two Fantastic four movies and now he Captain America. I know they not same universe as Mcu but it show how actor can take two different role in comic films and feel different as two characters. It be easy to make Kingsley look and act different to silly Trevor from Iron man 3 and not feel like same person if he play serious menacing Adrian Toomes Vulture.

My current faves for these four:

Kraven - Zach McGowan (his look on Black Sails is quite Kraven-esque)
Norman Osborn - Dominic West
Doc Ock - Michael Emerson
Vulture - Jonathan Banks

That's not a small detail. I agree they can, but I think it really has to be two characters who simply don't look like the same person (e.g., one character is in heavy makeup and the other is not or one character is CGI and the other is not). We'll see. I just don't think it's very likely.

No, it is in response that he can't play the Goblin. Plus he has a comedic background so I'm quite sure he can handle the Goblin.

No my wanting him is more for Norman. He looks like him and if you seen Breaking Bad, you know how he can handle friendly, menace, intelligence, scheming, and panic.

In a word, he's perfect for the role.

we do have to remember we have to look at this long term and a role like goblin likely be played out for the long haul this go around. We see him slowly build up over 2 or so spidey films. Then likely after infinity wars we likely see some adaption of seige or dark reign and they likely want to make norman a big player for the whole mcu. And this is looking for at least next 8 to 10 yr widow. And as much as i like cranston he is already 59 right now, so he be pushing close to 70s by the time we likely get to that stuff.

He would have been great for webb series to be goblin there as he would have been a few yrs younger and work better. But now he is more likely suited to be vulture, or silvermane for age then doing norman who likely be early/mid 40s tops right now.

He kinda reminds me of Dustin Johnson... Not sure if anyone is a fellow golfer here lol.

Oh, so we are fancasting villains now?
If so:

Josh Peck for the Spot, #SpotforSpider-Slam2017

umm havent we been doing that for ages and the point of this thread.

i would only go peck as shocker if they did the super looser weak guy the original ultimate comics take on him was. Which i do not want shocker to be. I want him to be more badass type of guy. I would rather have someone like norman reedus as shocker then peck. Peck i would put him better suited for one of the more looser guys like leapfrog, grizzly, etc..... guys.

well he is a little busy now lol. But i think reedus would be a solid pick for shocker myself.
