Homecoming Who should be the Villain in Spider-Man (2017)? - Part 4

Tech Route. Definetly. Definetly TECH Route.
Oooh, really? Yeah, if they did that with Falcon, then I can see them doing that with Vulture. Tbh, I don't think I care really...just want to see Spidey and Vulch go at it haha.

Me too. I also want to see Mysterio creating ilusions of the Battle of New York. Kraven going full Honor will be Restored and Johnatton Onn being fired by Stark and working for Kingpin ending becoming the Spot.

If Spidey teams up with Sif and Jonathon Onn covers her eyes, she'll have a blindspot. :o

I prefer the tech route, definitely.

Vulture should use the same tech as Falcon. Maybe he even invented the tech.

Maybe as a way of connecting it, Toomes was Sam Wilson's commanding officer.

People have mentioned similar things to that before. I think it would be a good way of connecting it. It could even bring Spidey into initial conflict with Falcon because Wilson feels a sense of loyalty to his CO.

Although that would make Vulture more than just a common criminal. He'd be more of a rampaging mercenary.

I'd like Spidey not to be connected to the villain this time round, so having Toomes connected to Wilson instead would still be a way of keeping a personal connection without it being Peter.

Or maybe Toomes was the one who developed actually military EXO-7 Falcon suit.

Plot:
Toomes as electrical engineer and inventor co-found the small firm of Bestman and Toomes Electronics. His business partner, Gregory Bestman, saw to all administrative affairs. Toomes devoted the bulk of his time to his pet project: an electromagnetic harness that would enable its wearer to fly like a bird (which become eventually EXO-7 Falcon). However, this proved disastrous when it came to light that Bestman had been stealing Toomes' share of the company.

Bestman assumed full control of the company in the wake of his partner's threats, cuting him out from his own company. Bestman in meantime sold two prototype EXO-7's as military suits to the SHIELD. (We know created some time prior to 2014, at least two EXO-7's were built and deployed in Afghanistan. One of them was likely destroyed when its user was shot down and the remaining one was locked away by the U.S. Military at Fort Meade which later become Falcon's suit. That same EX0-7 suit was was ultimately destroyed by the Winter Soldier, but later Wilson received an upgraded version of his EXO-7 to replace his old gear)

Looking for revenge, Toomes decided with help of hired henchmen Shocker infiltrate during or after events of Civil War and steal components suit and upgrade it, to finally have revenge on Bestman and regain back his company. :o

I like that idea. Is Spidey just a random hero who shows up to stop Toomes? He often was in the comics. The villain was usually looking for someone else, but Spidey just happened to be in the neighbourhood, and was often out of his depth fighting some of these foes (eg Firelord) when no-one else was around.

Well, it could work. We dont know in what state Avengers are after Civil War. I dont think they would notice right away during those events some of tech is missing. Spidey would go after event's probably go back to his regular life. Until he would notice some guy in bird-man suit similar to Falcon is terrorizing the city, but's not Falcon. I think Spidey would prefer not involving Avengers for this, specially if all of them are still didnt settle their problems and they have yet to work together again. Could work.

Scorpion would be awesome too. But I have no idea who I'd like to see in the role.

Gyllenhaal is probably my favorite actor, so I'd love that. But I'm not sure I could see him doing it.
I think Scorpion should be casted as the Anti-Spider-Man, what he was originally in the comics. They could cast people who were in the running before the MCU Reboot to play Spider-Man.

I wouldn't want Gargan to be that young

Weedy Asa Butterfield as bruiser Mac Gargan. :o

I meant actors circa the casting time for the Raimi trilogy or some for the Garflied era, actors circa the mid 20s and or 30s

Ah, gotcha. I'd say Vulture for the solo film and then Scorpion in the sequel and Mysterio if we get a trilogy. But I don't want to get too far ahead of myself.

- Spider-Man MCU 1 - Kingpin and/or Vulture, no romance, introduce Eddie Brock, Flash Thompson, Norman lurking across the trilogy (not Green Goblin)
- Spider-Man MCU 2 - Kraven, introduce symbiote, Felicia Hardy
- Spider-Man MCU 3 - Venom, introduce Black Cat as interest/team up.
- After this you can get the first Sony spin-off film being Agent Venom.
- Spider-Man MCU 4 - Definitive Green Goblin adaption

For both Black Cat and symbiote, I want them to draw on their original depictions rather than the later ones. The symbiote making you evil was something introduced in the cartoon. In the original run, it was just trying to help Peter. It was an alien with a flimsy grasp of human workings, it just knew that its host wanted to beat up people so it tried to lend out a hand by using his body to beat up those people for him. It had no idea Peter would misinterpret that as malicious. It didn't hate Peter until he tried to kill it, and even then was still in love with him enough to want to give him a second chance.

As for Black Cat I want her to exemplify the hedonistic rush of doing what you want and flirting I want her to fall in love with Spider-Man, because she sees in him a kindred spirit, and go through an arc where she learns to reconcile who Peter is without the mask with who he is with the mask something she has trouble with, because she doesn't have much of a life outside the mask herself.

I think people need to drop the idea of Kingpin and Venom. So far it's pretty clear that the Netflix shows and movies have been kept separate and Sony is trying to get their own Venom movie so I doubt he shows up in the MCU.

Still saying even though i would like to see the Symbiote in IW. I wouldn't mind if we don't see Venom till maybe....Part 5?
