Who should direct "Captain America"?

I picked Other, My choice would have to be Ridley Scott

I want Clint Eastwood for this project.

This is a pretty good choice as well.

Can't believe no ones menitioned one of the Scott Brothers. Ridley or Tony Scott could make a great comic book movie. Not sure if Cap would be right for them but if we are throwing names in the hat.

The director will most likely be someone we never thought of. Comic Book movies are quite random when it comes to selecting directors.

It seems Someone knows what they are taliing about.

I want a $200 million Nazi busting Captain America directed by Michael Bay.

A Micheal Bay directed Captain America flick would be so crap, I don't think I would be able to watch it.

I bet he wouldn't downlplay the flag like a lot of other directors. Shoot, Bay would have Cap beatdown neonazis with a flagpole before hurtling it at their megadevice causing a city-block-sized red-white-and-blue explosion.

Just checked him out on imdb, not too promising.
Two of his movies have a passing grade, his first one has 80%.

3 of these movies seem centered around love and relationships, John Q just plain sucked, and I've heard mixed reviews about Alpha Dog.

Nothing about him screams out Captain America is all I know.

John Q is one of my all time favorites, especially from Denzel. Just saying.

Are there any flagwaving action directors? Who actually screams Captain America, exactly? Sam Raimi?

...huh...Well the Wachowskis are actually brilliant choices. Really liking that idea there. They can do great subtle moments and at the drop of the hat go over the top at just the right levels. I really support this choice.

Which is why Iron Man going to be awesome, because he wanted to do this project and the input us fans had during pre-production.
