I'm thinking there is at least a 20% chance that they hire Justin Lin. He's directed 3 good fast&furious movies and Star trek beyond(which is considered to be up there with Star trek 2009). The guy can obviously craft awesome summer blockbusters and has done sci-fi action before. He's good director both financially and critically, and also he seems to be a good obedient soldier that won't be too much of a nuisance to the studio. I believe he won't discouraged by the firing of James Gunn based on the sole fact that he has the balls to sign on to a Space Jam sequel with Lebron James.
