You guys are missing the obvious. The Green Goblin will take Norman Osborn down. He is his own worst enemy!
I look at the Surfer as a cosmic version of the idealistic insider. Like a lawyer who does pro bono work or tries to defend smaller companies or individuals against big, soulless corporations; they use the standard lawyer tactics, which are generally considered pretty cutthroat, to try and help people. You know that won't stick forever. Especially since Galactus is apparently at his hungriest of all times. Didn't seem to have a problem making Galactus eat Eon or Epoch, or whatever that person is now.
In terms of the cosmic scale to Galactus. The Surfer generally enjoys the little people, and even talks with them often. XD
However, the Surfer didn't have his memory wiped. Galactus used Norrin's preexisting desire to travel the stars and more to be a herald, and the Surfer pretty much accepted. He knew what was entailed. Now, forgot what it was like to be on the recieving end of Galactus? Yah, because it was the people of Earth who reminded him of home and his love that pushed him to defy Galactus. o.o
That, be true.
Unless you're a super cosmic being.![]()

Yeah but you're using a bendis obama in those quotes. I much prefer and believe the T-Bolts version.
Diggle's Osborn in particular expressed his approval to Osborn.
2) Stardust showing up, telling everyone that they're blessed to be consumed by Galactus, and slaughtering anyone who tried to escape the planet before Galactus arrived?
Yeah, in Beta Ray Bill: Godhunter. He actually pissed this peaceful race off so much with his antics that they returned to their ancient warrior ways, retrieved their insanely huge stockpile of weapons and battleships, and went to war with Galactus.
I love him/her/it. Plus, Stardust's like the first actual rival Beta Ray Bill has had all to himself rather than inheriting from Thor or other cosmic guys.Someone really needs to kill Stardust.

Yeah, I'm with you until Steve becomes head of SHIELD. That's like asking Superman to run Checkmate over at DC. It just doesn't work. The super-good guys can't be the heads of spy/peacekeeping organizations because the heads of those organizations need to get their hands dirty. I don't want to see Steve ordering hits or having covert operatives disavowed and leaving them in foreign prisons or whatever.
