Sequels Who would be the villain for SM4?

Lizard has always been one of my fav. villains because not only is he great for action scenes, but he takes a toll on Peter emotionally since his alter-ego and Spider-man are friends. Plus, he's already been introduced. Chameleon might be interesting as a side villain. He could really mess with Peter's head, but people really want to see big fight scenes.

If he is a side villain with his own motives incorporated into an overall plot it can work. You will get the action scenes and battles from the other villain or villains. Chameleon can work. Imagine the chaos he causes impersonating JJJ Robby Aunt May Betty Brant or whoever. It also expands the other actors roles.

Kraven would work IF they worked him into the Lizard story. Otherwise, I would say that he is a bland character and one of my least favorite Spider-Man villains.

Clone Saga, I can't even begin to defend. I liked all 3 Clone Sagas, but they will NEVER make a good movie.

Actually, it might be alright if they incorporated him in with Lizard.

Oh yeah, I liked the comic clone saga, but for a main-stream movie...

Oh yeah, I liked the comic clone saga, but for a main-stream movie...

I'd still love it if they hyped Kraven the whole time, and then, when he finally faces Spider-Man, Spidey knocks him out in one punch (a la Ultimate Spider-Man).

Unfortunately, it won't happen. But I can still hope.

That might be funny if it happens in the beginning of one of the movies, but I don't know. I'd rather not see him in any of the films at all.

Kraven would have to be portrayed as a formidable challenge. He has to be capable of one on one fighting with Spidey and the Lizard. Whatever potion or formula he uses has to heighten his senses strength agilty and fighting skills to the level of Spidey. He should hold his own. Throw in the various weapons traps and gases he uses and you have an obstacle in saving Connors from being killed or dissected by scientists.

But that's the point where he would be most vulnerable...haha.

But seriously, picture it. The audience really thinks it's MJ. They go in for the kiss, and all of a sudden, MJ tries to kill Peter.

That would be hilarious....I think they should allow the Chameleon to take the serum herbs spices or potion that Kraven takes enhance his strength and let him know some kind of martial arts and fight Peter as MJ when he reveals himself.

No.... Chameleon should be nothing more but a spy or mercenary. No goofy Saturday morning weapons. Perhaps let him get Kraven's formula towards the end and have him know martial arts.

It'd especially be awesome if he started fighting before he changed back.

It would be cool to see MJ as one of the villains at the final battle fighting spidey instead of seeing MJ there screaming as a hostage,even if it wasn't really MJ.

But for the movie wouldn't it be cooler to see spidey dodge lasers from a laser gun,than just hearing a sound from a regular gun when spidey dodges the attack.

Definitely Mysterio (for the psychological threat), and throw in a more physical villain to counterbalance - say, Lizard or the Vulture. Or even Carnage, depending on how Spiderman 3 ends.

I would've loved to have seen Venom appear again and be the main villian,but it looks as if they may not happen. He definetly deserves his own film though!
If Raimi directs it(which I'm hoping he will)then I would think my second favorite villian would make his appearance...the Lizard! Raimi has always said that the villian in the film has to have some ties to Peter Parker. Well,Curt Connors is one of Peter's idols and his teacher. Who better? I think having 3 baddies in a movie(like part 3)was great,but I don't really wanna see it continue by having 2-3 main villians in every movie. I'd say,have Lizard be the main one and then have a smaller secondary baddie like maybe,Shocker or Scorpion.

It should have been Sandman, Hopgoblin, GG2... no symbiate... then in the the fourth you could have electro/shocker/rhino as a side villain... symbiate affecting Parker's personality... then getting to Brock half way through... then you could have shown Brock manipulating everyone just like he did in TAS... Venom still coming at the end... but its too late obviously...

great villain, but his big story is the one we will see, and that comes in the form of how the symbiote suit effects peter parker, and the parrallel with eddie brock

So true,he is an awesome villain.Even if they would of made SM3 where Peter gets the black suit and the only villain in the movie is Harry as the Hobgoblin,and at the end of the movie Peter takes off the black suit because he thinks he killed Harry and the last shot is of Venom as he screams into the screen.

Venom couldn't pull off being the only villain in SM4,it would be very boring.He doesn't have the things that the other villains have that could carry a movie by themselves.That's why Sandman would probably of been added to the movie with him if they did that.

Then you would get the same battle royale at the end of it.
