Sequels Who would be the villain for SM4?

Ock is coming back whether you like it or not... they kept Sandman alive to save him for SM6... and there was a blatant bugle issue hanging in Jameson's office when he was taking pills titles "Doc Ock still at large"... yeah it was probably a headline from SM2 but you know damn well Sony wanted to leave it out there in the open for future possibilities

Just wanted to get my hopes up.... I just don't want to see carnage for SM4 though... enough with the symbiates.... just forget about the extra samples... so what... its going to break out of the lab and bind with Cassidy out of no where? I have no interest in minions like Rhino, Chameleon, and Kraven. I really don't see Rhino appearing unless he's hired by someone or there's a scene at the beginning with Spider-man kicking his butt and defeating him. There's no way he can hold his own movie.

Chameleon is just Spiderman's Mystique.

As for Kraven I really can't see why people think he would be good in a movie. There's nothing really special about him and other sites that I go too he's in everyone's top five or three villains they should use. I don't get it. Where's the attraction to this guy from?

I would much rather see:
The Lizard
Scorpion
Electro
Carnage
I'd rather see effing Vulture and Mysterio than this guy

These are all much better villains than Kraven.

I know I'm gonna get criticized for this especially for my Kraven comments since a lot of people here like him.

Actually I think they may be setting us up for a ss6 movie for part(omg)6. With Doc ocks status undetermined, the lizards possibley showing up, who ever may appear in 5 and a possible ressurection of GG who knows.

Yeah. I honestly don't understand what anyone means when they say he wasn't developed enough. What? We explored his motive. His personality was defined. His motives added up to his battle with Spider-man. What more do you want?

well sandy just switches really quickly, why would he want to KILL spidey? It makes no sense if he's good, he'd just wanna go and help his daughter.

Not sure if I want a spidey 4 now, a lot needs to be re-adjusted to bring things back in line.

Thats what I'm thinking... let Norman stay dead though... hopefully Molina would be up for it though... even if its not a Sinister 6... it could be like the top 4 badasses left alive... Ock, Electo, Sandman, Mysterio (and maybe two side thugs for kicks). Yeah I know people are going to say Sinister 6 is stupid but I just don't know what else would work exactly... I don't want hogoblin for SM6... that would be too much of the same old. And forget about Carnage... I'd vomit...

I don't think villains are very important, they need to get back to CHARACTERS, which is something they neglected in SM3, perhaps if they went back to one villain, rather than escalating things with more villains, Raimi didn't handle the villains he had in SM3 very well and one of them we had seen coming since the first film(GG2), so take a step down and have less villains, but make them characters rather than plot devices.

I can see the latter happening too, but I disagree with your former opinion. His established character is he will do anything to save his daughter(get money for whatever medical thing she needs). Though he also deep down doesn't REALLY want to hurt anybody and tries his best not to do it while saving his daughter. BUT, if the two characteristics conflict hard enough with each other, saving his daughter will be the emotion that overshadows the good natured one. Thus Spider-man shows up twice and twarts him twice in (whats in his mind as) an attempt tosave his daughter. He feels that as long as Spider-man is alive he would continue doing this. Thus his mentality of Spider-man must die because Spidey alive=daughter dead.
