I think one of the two MAJOR Spider-Man villians should make a return: Green Goblin in a more Green Goblin type costume with a masterplan type plot or Doc Ock recruiting a Sinister Six.

What would work better? Of the two scenarios, what would you want to see?

Neither of them should return. Especially Goblin. The Goblin story is done and dusted.

Neither of them should come back, but if I had to choose ONE of them, then I'd choose Doc Ock.

Doctor Octopus...he's not dead, I saw him at the mall.

Do some of you guys understand the nature of this medium? Like, at all?

These are MOVIES. They're made for the general public, not just the hardcore comic fans who are used to the revolving door between life and death. There has to be a certain sense of finality to movies (unlike comics, which have to maintain a form of continuity indefinitely). In other words, anyone who dies, stays dead.

Doc Ock. Specifically for Sinister Six purposes.

Give Norman and Harry a break.

Alhough neither of them should return in this franchise, if one HAD to return, I'd want it to be the Green Goblin.

Yep. Both Goblins,Ock and Venom(sadly)are gone. Never to return again, except in a relaunch of the series.

I agree, Blader. This is how I see it, as well.

I prefer that neither of them return to any film; but if it had to be anyone, it would be Doc Ock for use in the Sinister Six.

I like GG more which is why I chose him, Doc Ock isn't one of my favs so if one of them HAD to return, I'd want the GG to return.

Doc Ock, so that he could lead the Sinister Six if it did happen. He is the original leader to.

Ock has the biggest chance of returning, GG, not so much. Unless they go with the storyline of him recovering & healing from his wounds & rising from the grave.

Yeah, resurrecting Green Goblin has a logical precedent in the comics. But I would have Ock stay dead: they'd probably ruin his redemptive arc.

This thread is stupid..........................

Neither of em. The Sinister Six would make a movie too crowded, Spidey 3 couldn't even handle 3 villians.

But I would have Ock stay dead: they'd probably ruin his redemptive arc.
Not really, I mean there must be some way to make Ock realise that he needs to rebuild once again. It also can be Ock wanting revenge on Spidey for trying to make him destroy his machine. There are quite a few possibilities.
