If you were Spider-Man, and all deaths and clones aside, which female would you choose?

And what are your reasons?
You like that scene in House of M?
You perfer red heads to blondes, vice versa?
You like Howard more than Dunst?

Gwen was Pete's true love, he'll always love her more than MJ, even though he feels guilty about it. Gwen was perfect.

I preferred Peter and Gwen's whole romance, but, at the same time, I'm not into the whole "Gwen was the only one for Peter, blah, blah, blah" thing. In the 616 universe, at least. In Ultimate, Mary Jane is by far Peter's perfect match.

I am honestly shocked she has stayed dead so long. Think of the love triangle to come out of her ressurection, her honest to god, hal jordan, oliver queen, style ressurection. That would be a love trianlge with no cookie cutter ending I'll tell you that right now.

I wouldn't want Gwen Stacy back, her death was my most favourite comic of all time. It made Peter the Spider-man he is today.

Then again, if she was still around...I'd go for the blonde all the time.

Especially if she looked like Bryce Dallas Howard from the 3rd Spidey. Yum yum.

personally I prefer MJ to Gwen Stacy in the general comic world. I started reading comics in the late 80's. And all i've ever know was MJ and Pete.

However I have hated the characterization and casting of MJ in the Spiderman flicks.

MJ. Rather than the oblivious girl-next-door, MJ's always had some spine. She's managed to not be a damsel in distress about as much as being married to a superhero and not having powers could possibly allow. I'd really like to see MJ stand up for herself again rather than the current plot with her constantly hiding out, but hopefully once the Civil War ramifications die down, she'll get a chance. Granted, I haven't read the Sensational Spider-Man Annual yet, so I may be pleasantly surprised. Basically, if the 616 MJ were more like she is in the MC2 future, I'd be happy. Right now, I'm kind of indifferent to her, but I really would hate seeing Gwen come back.

Yeah, you'd do well to check out the Annual. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it. Basically, MJ holds her own against a slew of SHIELD agents just long enough for Peter to show up for the last minute rescue. I really, really liked the teamwork aspect. It was all perfectly executed on MJ and Peter's part.

Peter and MJ are and should always be portrayed as a team. They are each other's rock, as corny as it sounds.

The character could've had more screen time, but I think she pulled off Gwen's personality very well. That and she looked like she walked out of a comic book page; she was stunning.
