It's strange for two reasons... I'm always more preferable to the status quo relationship (ex. cyclops/phoenix, Mr Fantastic/Invisible Woman, Superman/Lois Lane, etc.) and I'm not really that big of a Spider-fan at all... but I've always much more fond of Gwen and Pete. I thought the Gwen's the only one for Pete and he still loves her thing was great. I totally think it should have been left with her death on the bridge though. It was such a tragic moment and was as big a part of Pete's story as Uncle Ben if you ask me, now its just tainted. And not in a good story element kind of way.

What did everyone think of Bryce's performance as Gwen?

The character could've had more screen time, but I think she pulled off Gwen's personality very well. That and she looked like she walked out of a comic book page; she was stunning.

Gwen was Pete's true love, he'll always love her more than MJ, even though he feels guilty about it. Gwen was perfect.

This..is the post.I agree with it.You could argue that Gwen Stacy was the Golden Age of Spider-Man and Mary-Jane is the Modern Age.

In Ultimate, Mary Jane is by far Peter's perfect match.

Really? Because I'm the opposite, I've always preferred the MJ in original Spider-Mans, but GS in Ultimates. She has a lot more personality in the Ultimate universe and is the "ultimate" underdog in the relationship. I mean, before they killed her, there wasn't even a shred of attraction from Peter Parker. I really wish they would have developed her character more before the carnage incident. (And if there was something more don't tell me, I'm still trying to catch up on all the Ultimate SMs. )

I'm a fan of Gwen. It's not that I prefer blondes, because to be honest I don't, but Gwen was always written the way that I wanted all my girlfriends to be. As has been stated in this thread already, she was perfect.

Plus, in a superficial way, I really dig the hairband/boots look
