What? Are you laughing in all Spider-man fans faces because Wolverine is slower than him?

Heh, you're a real reader, aren't ya?:o It was a jab at that questionable strength rating, I'd already squared away the Speed issue above that in a definitive fashion, or so I thought.:down

Oh sorry dude, my mistake.

hey guys Wolvie could use some help in my thread, aprently I had one Cyke fan start mailing all his friends to gang up on me, and now things are getting out of hand. I created the thread simply for rational debate, but now they are just throwing **** at fans. Anywho, if you could check it out that would be great :)

I voted for Cyke. :D:up:

Those cars are obviously wrong, because it says that Spidermans Intel is only 7. Yet he made his own web fluid and web shooters and plenty of other things. Yet he's just a notch about our friend Wolvy.

BTW; I voted for wolverine. Just to spite all of you.

Yeah Spidey is in the same intelligence class as Reed and Doom. In high school he invented the webbing that scientists in labs tried to replicate and failed. Peter did it in his bedroom. He deciphered the 40th century robotics technology of Kang on a mountainside in minutes and reprogrammed the robots. He undersood anti matter science that Reed said few minds on the planet could ever understand. He managed to unmutate the Lizard where Reed failed to unmutate Ben.

This is a no brainer. Why is this thread even needed?

I'm pretty sure Reed's managed to reverse Ben's mutation before. The fact that he turned back shouldn't be held against Reed. The Lizard's "cure" obviously didn't work either, after all.

1602 explained perfectly why Reed can't cure Ben.

He said something to the degree of there being some higher force that finds Ben more interesting story-wise as a monster than as a man.

Doc Connors kept experimenting on himself. Ben has been cured for a time but I don't know how it was done. The occasions that I have actually read about, Reed failed. And Reed has far better equipment and more time than Spidey had. Not to mention Reeds patient wasn't trying to rip his heart out while being cured.

Actually they have stated that Lord Chaos and Master Order were responsible for Spidey and the FF coming into being. Maybe they are keeping him the way he is.

It's possible Conners' problem was actually easier to cure than Ben's, too. Conners spliced his DNA with lizard DNA. I imagine it'd be easier to reverse-engineer some separator from lizard DNA samples than it would be to undo an apparently random mutation due to unidentified cosmic radiation.

Even after you seperated the foreign dna you would still have to reconstruct the original. Both tasks would be very difficult.

Which is why Spidey's "Cure" for Lizard has never been explained all that well. Or at all, really. Stan wouldn't know how to do that, he just knows how to tell a story.

Spiderman is significantly stronger, faster, smarter and more agile than wolverine.

Hmmm maybe the maker of this thread was basing the decision on who appears in more places at once? thats almost like speed and if thats the case Wolverine might actually have a chance. What is he in like 11 titles now?

uuhhhh.......what? that makes no ****ing sense

Umm.....ok.
Tell me if Im wrong, but I am pretty sure that Wolverine's only mutant power was the accelerated healing factor.

Where else did he get all of that strength?

Spidey has a amazing 50 agility rating per the marvel supers rpg. Wolvie has I think excellent 20 or possibly remarkable 30 tops.

Spidey is faster but Wolverine would probably cheat and slash him or sumthin lol

I think the RPG ratings are a little skewed because they're intended for game play. They try to keep things somewhat equal for the players. That being said, Spidey is definately faster.

thats logan secondary mutation.

It's kind of strange how Logan never got a secondary mutation. I guess even Morrison decided to adhere to the ol' "if it ain't broke" rule in Logan's case.

In Marvel vs. Capcom.....Spidey is faster, but I use wolverine cause owns in the game:)
