Pre production on x3 had not even started when singer signed for superman..fox were sitting around on there arses doing nothing...but as soon as singer announced he was doing superman and bringing marsden..fox are all like ''OMG GET X3 OUT NOW AND MAKE SURE ITS OUT BEFORE SUPERMAN OH AND KILL MARSDEN TOO.''
Marsden had PLENTY of time to film for x3...there was a down time with superman and singer gave him a month of to go film it. But fox didnt even want cyclops in the film
Singer has siad MANY times that once he was done with Superman he would love to do X3.
But noooooooooooooo fox wanted it out now!!! because tom rothman had the hump with singer
WANKER
agreed and as as for sin city and batman begins. sin city was not really wrote like a comicbook in my opinion. its was wrote more like a movie. that is why it crossed over so well in my mind. batman begins was also taking ideas and changing them to make a stellar movie.......just like singer AND ratner did for the x-men.HighVoltage said:
Then kill Bryan Singer because he was a traitor, not Fox, not Ratner.
It´s funny why many people hate X3, because Singer is not the director of this movie, but Bryan Singer was the person who betrays the X-Production, only for a crappy character like Supe..... you know.
Optic Rage said:so why wouldent fox wait for singer to be done with Sr instead of rushing x3.
He said he would do it..and you can hardly blame the guy for doing Sr..x3 hadent even been anounced untill after he signed...and the only reason it had been announced then is because he signed.

yupWorthyStevens4 said:So Singer is supposed to wait on Fox to do something, when they were clearly dropping the ball when it came to starting production?
The man needs to work for Christ's sake.

Ratner didn't kill Cyclops. FOX didHighVoltage said:Thanks.
And the funny for me is all the crybabies saying; "Why Ratner Killed Cyclops", Hey, Cyclops had a life with Bryan Singer?

. . . Well, apparently he had more of one than he did in X3 (I didn't think his role could get much smaller after X2, but hey, they found a way) . . . I'm not buying the fact that because X2 wasn't the "Cyclops" movie that he couldn't have had the role in X3 he deserved. Nightcrawler wasn't present at all in X-Men, and yet somehow they managed to write him a role that made him one of the most beloved/memorable characters within the entire trilogy . . . the same goes for Beast. He was hardly present in the previous films, and what do you know? He had a fine role in X3 . . . the same could have been done for Cylcops, regardless of the length of his time in X2.Aiden said:Ratner didn't kill Cyclops. FOX did
GhostPoet said:I wasn't mad with what they did to Psyloche or any of the other characters...know why? Because I understand it's an alternate storyline...just like what has been happening in comics for YEARS.
This is just another spin on the characters.
And obviousl a lot of people liked it as there is far more praise and normal movie forums than on comic forums...some comic fans just can't get past the idea that this is an alternate story. NOT a rip from the pages of the various comic stories.

It's unfortunate that more just can't bring themselves to get that point.
Nathan said:There were only 2 things fans wanted.
1. The Phoenix is the main threat
2. The Focus is on Scott and Jean
That's all, and I don't see how that qualifies as wanting the movie to be exactly like the comics. I didn't see anyone being outraged that the Shi'ar weren't in the Movie.
