It's ok. I liked it a lot. It's plot heavy and doesn't have that much action, which I actually don't have a problem with. And it has a very unique visual style that tries to blend real life with anime aspects.

I'm not that good with plot explanations, so you should visit this site if you want to know more.

Thanks man, ill keep an eye out for it.

the guy reminded me of Sub-Zero...

For all the people blaming Bryan Singer for leaving, get a ****ing clue. Would you stay with Fox if they had limited everyone one of your choices for the first two movies, by reducing the budget of the first movie and bringing the release date forward six months, or by not financing you ideas for the sequel. And then the company is trying to give you a bum contract for the third when another company is offering you a big paycheck, lots of creative freedom and the chance to do your favourite hero! Some people are so ****ing stupid.

It's unfortunate that some can't get the point that the main concern isn't that the movie didn't followed the comics page by page, but that it was in general a bad movie. :down

- The characers acted out of character
- It jumped from scene to scene without any moment to breath
- character development was almost non-existend
- The dialogue was cringe worthy
- Too many damn one-liners that took all of the tension away. Last time I checked this was supposed to be a movie about a war and not some comedy.
- 2 plots that weren't explored at all. We have the Cure "Oh it's bad" and that's it. And then we have Jean with a split personality, but she is a background character in the last half of the movie

Couldn't agree more!

So funny that after all of the: "it's a war movie so characters die" the 3 main deaths are the x-men killing each other and we only know it's a "war" (the smallest ever with 6 people on one side) because Magneto say "Let end this war". :down

X3 was by no means a comedy. I found it refreshing that they actually kept the tone of the other films. You want a slop job of a part 3 that made an action comedy? T3.

fantastic four had better character development than x3. No character in this movie reflected the true x-men characters. I hear the writers talk about wolverine is the main show but its not even the real wolverine in x3.. its an emo version of some kind.

Its a cuddly Wolverine, whos are arsed about getting his end away than the people being killed around him.

I always thought he meant the war as in the one that has been going on between the mutants and the humans since X1 AND X2 when Stryker took the law into his own hands. That's why we called it the final battle, not the final war.

  I love your avvy!
But I don't think that's what he meant - there is nothing to support that. Also the writters and Ratner kept saying this movie is about a war...

Fox. Ratner did a good job with what he was given and Kinberg and Penn did a fine job too. All they stuff they put in that sucked(for the most part) was just them following orders.

Thank you! :p

Yeah, to each their own, I guess. Take it as you will. I still stand by my original thought, lol. Yeah, it was hardly a war in the "final battle". You want a war? Watch the Helm's Deep or Minas Tirith war instead.

*drools*

You can only hope. :down

I blame the Writers for choosing to have Scott die rather then just simply pull a Wolverine & split for a bit. I blame FOX for just about everything else

I love listening to Jackson's/ Singer's commentaries. There is so much thought behind every little detail.

That one is also good, too, but I wanted to use one that won't get censored. Stewie is my savior. He rules.

Yeah, I sometimes think the same thing with my mom, too. :o We fight all the time. Love/hate relationship, I guess.

Some common sense here.

It's already been pointed out by critics that Ratner changed the script a lot. So there's no need to keep second guessing.

Here's part of it:

"Ratner on the final act: I had to COMPLETELY CHANGE the third act. The new conclusion is probably more expensive.

Ratner on the Sentinels: I've been able to put stuff in this movie which, for some reason, Bryan [Singer] wasn't. The Danger Room, the Fastball Special, and also the Sentinels -- it's really hard to make a robot a character. All these things weren't in the script until I introduced them."
