Whose Joker has the best outfit?

01.jpg

I always loved the final design of the BTAS Joker. I liked the wonky bow tie more than the string bow tie he wore in the comics. By taking a note from the Green Goblin by only having purple and green and throwing out the orange and blue, it makes his clothing look MUCH better. I always liked the cleanliness of the Joker's presentation so TDK's hobo Joker didn't really do much for me visually.

But "the suit, it wasn't cheap."

i always liked jack nicholson outfit all the little details you don't see in the movie like the four suits of cards on the buttons on his waistcoat ,playing cards for cufflinks and those pants where for 20 years I have never located anything that came close to those.

heath ledger's joker outfit does it for me. not surprising, since i consider his joker portrayal the best of all time.

This is the outfit that truly does it for me. No, not Joker with the blue blazer and purple trenchcoat. I'm talking about Joker with just his blue shirt and green vest. I always thought the Joker should wear purple at all times but you know, blue does just fine. It's perfect.

I like both the jack nicholson outfit and the heath ledger outfit, but in my opinion ledger's one is the best!

Yeah, this is my fav DCAU Joker design, but I think the shoulders are too broad for someone traditionally depicted as a thin guy.

I HATE Nicholson's pants in that pic. I have a pair exactly like them....I'm in bed....it's night time....they're pajamas.

I don't like the real clean cut Joker or clean Joker's in general. He's a crazy person, he scrounges around the city doing weird and f'd up stuff. He should be dirty and derranged. So TDK and Arkham Asylum Joker's do it for me.

Bermejo's Joker is tops for me. I just love that outfit. The black leather trenchcoat, in particular. It's more casual than any other design I've seen, but kinda classy lookin, IMO, rather than dirty and disheveled like TDK.

The new video game rendition is a close 2nd, though. Definitely my favorite 'classic' Joker.

Heath Ledger, visually, I've actually never been completely fond of, and recently have hated. He just looks too grungy. The Joker dresses the way he does because he views everything as if he was putting on a show. So he wears the gaudy purple tux, shiny shoes, vest etc to look good in front of his audience. Yet here we have ol' Heath-Joker sauntering around looking like he slept in his clothes for weeks. In an open dumpster. I do like his shirt, though. Snazzy!

Not sure what you're seeig but bermejo's joker always looks almost idenetical to the heath joker to me. Not just the face but the outfit too.

How is this get up so different from ledgers joker with the trenchcoat and leather gloves? Not to mention they both wear ties insted of bow ties.

I really like the classic look - orange, purple, green. Those colors are all almost opposites of each other, and it's just visually very... well, very Joker. Heath's was too understated for me; while I thought he did a phenomenal job acting, the character design just wasn't "doing it".

By the way, gorgeous sculpture in the original post. Where do I find it?
