Infinity War Whose lack of screentime were you most disappointed with?

I would have loved to see the initial confrontation between The Asgardians and The Black Order

I think at least a piece of that wouldn't have hurt. Show the Asgardian warriors fighting desperately to protect their people and falling. Even if it's just in flashes. Starting off with them defeated...I get it, but it robbed the event of some of its impact.

Thanos and Gamora took up close to an hour of the movie, and Thanos had a whole 5th of the movie.

In Avengers 4 Thanos won't have so much screentime.

I think Strange, Wanda, and Spidey will have roughly the same amount of time. Panther will have a bit more and will interact with the newer Avengers, relationships that will go on into Phase 4 while the main plot closes the OG team's story.

I think this as well. Good points.

Her screentime was only about a minute more than Civil War. I hope Soul World and her meeting Doctor Strange moves her arc forward.

I think with Thanos having less screentime in Avengers 4 we'll get a more balanced screentime.

Quite impressive because the film def gave her a lot to do. Seemed like she had more.

I wanna see
WM given more to do since he (surprisingly survived).

But I sure hope
Falcon gets some screentime too.

Reading that there was a draft of the script where Falcon was on Iron Man's team instead of Spider-Man confirmed my feeling that Anthony Mackie probably got the worst deal in terms of screen time.

Captain America and Black Widow got relatively little screen time, but they are guaranteed to have big parts next year. Most of the other "dusted" characters had relatively big roles in this movie. Poor Sam got it bad on both sides.

I guess you could make a case for Bucky having it worse, though.

I do wonder if that draft was only written in case Sony wouldn't let them dust Spider-Man.

Also I notice that a lot of the characters who got lean screen time were the cast members that the Russos/Markus/McFeely first worked with together on Winter Soldier: Cap, Natasha, Bucky, Sam. I wonder if they found it easier to cut scenes for those characters because the actors trust them. That may be over-thinking it, though.

Ya, it still doesn't sit well with me that the movie starts AFTER they got their collective arses whooped. I didn't go to the movie to use my imagination - I wanted to see the heavyweight fight because that's what it should have been.

I gotta admit I was quite surprised.

damn. Tried to create a poll but made an error.

I was shocked at how little screentime Falcon and Bucky got. Also BLACK WIDOW

yeah man. I wanted more Bucky :( he was better off frozen

The thing is bucky, wm and falcon are all supporting characters, in a movie like this their screen time is always going to be limited.

I think the way buckys been used since the WS has been strange, in both cw and iw hes been used as a punch bag. given the fact he was one of the MCU's deadliest villains in ws its strange.

Black Panther, Shuri & Valkarie
Who is supposedly killed off screen and her body is near Heimdall's
I also don't feel the Wakandans in general had a great showing

The Russos say [blackout]Valkyrie survived[/blackout]

I wonder how they would have explained Falcon in space. That is interesting to consider.

Nebula is the daughter I wanted to see more of than what we had.

All things considered I thought she had a decent showing. The fact that she [BLACKOUT]survived[/BLACKOUT] was a surprise.

Same here. She isn't a big star nor has a big following. Kinda lucky she wasn't killed off in this.

She's becoming a big star. Guardians of the Galaxy and Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle are seeing Karen Gillan becoming a major Hollywood actor.

At least there is hope for more screen time being dedicated to her in the sequel to this movie.

This is what irks me about Hollywood. It should be about the CHARACTER, being as true to the source material, and what's best for the STORY and not about let's give this actor more screentime because they're a huge star. Reminds me of Jen Lawrence's Mystique being turned into a prominent X-Men and given more screentime when she has mainly been a supervillain in the comics! BTW I prefer Romijn's Mystique to JLaw's.

With a shot of him
being turned to dust in his cryo chamber?

I'd have preferred that over what we got of him in the film. His cameo in BP made it seem as if he'd have a significant role to play in the Wakanda fight.

Cap. Really wished he had more screen time.

Especially after how awesome he was in Scotland and Wakanda.

The Russo's really made the character as cool as one can get. First in TWS (basically ever action scene he is in), then AoU (the truck fight with Ultron + Sokovia) and now in IW.
