Why are so many women getting tattoos?

I'm assuming Thundercrack is playing devil's advocate here and is explaining the "moral decay" quote from Sentinel. There are so many reasons we are all going to burn in Hell if you believe everything from Leviticus.

I'm not too obsessed with Leviticus Mosaic law..It comes down to spiritual intent of getting tattoo....why deface what God tells you to be holy? What is the purpose? To join a worldly trend of rebellion?


As long as you believe Jesus Christ death and resurrection will cover your sins, you don't have to worry about some tattoo you currently or use to have..

If you believe tattoos are a sign of moral decay and that they are harmful to your body and disrespectful to God or whatever... fine, people have all kinds of crazy opinions.

But that opinion should be about tattoos on anyone... not just women

The fact that you've commented only on women, tried to insinuate that women who get them are doing it out of rebellion or to be more manly... it speaks volumes about how much of a sexist bigot you are.

People need to stop and think about implications of what they're doing..who they are following and not do things simply because its popular.

Well, I would be rather petty to dismiss a person just because they have a tattoo.

I've certainly tolerated worse things.

It's ugly. I don't think it's an affront to the Creator of the Universe... like some people.

I've been thinking about getting a tattoo for ages. I want to get the word 'hope' in Kryptonian, very small down by my ankle.

That is not because I am 'making a statement' to the world or attention seeking or rebelling or trying to be more masculine.

It is because I love Superman, I love everything he stands for (obviously hope being a major one of those), and I'd love to commit to that in a way that will stay with me forever. Until the day I die, I will have 'hope'.

Now you can think that's all very silly and stuff, I don't mind. And I may not actually get the tattoo, cause i'm not a particularly daring person (never had any peircings, never died my hair adventurous colours or had dreds or anything like that), but if I did it would be a subtle and personal statement.

It wouldn't be disgusting.
