I was reading over the comics based off of the series and they introduced Zod in a great way and I am just wondering why they never used him.

Yeah, but I also figured that it was legal reasons, like the Bat-Embargo or the Aquaman-Embargo.Red X said:Bruce Timm and the gang were told that Superman had to be the last son of krypton, if you remember they changed Supergirls origin also...the reason they could use the other character if because they always planned for them to get killed off.

Zod was a villain from the earlier superman comics that they used in the superman 2 movie but... he wasnt fruity at all :/TheGrayGhost said:Oh, and about Zod, isn't he some fruity villain from the Christopher Reeve's movies? I'm glad we didn't see him.
Aye. The movie Zod was a real villain, a man's villain. He was the epitome of anti-fruity.SsM said:Zod was a villain from the earlier superman comics that they used in the superman 2 movie but... he wasnt fruity at all :/

possible.. Maybe when SUperman TAS started production and was in production Zod's rights were tied up in the superman lives movie..Obi-Ron said:"Superman Returns" is supposed to follow Superman 2, so maybe the powers that be are using Zod in that somehow.
