Why hate FOX?

Gotta agree.
Stylistically, FF has a lot more in common with the MCU's four-color approach to a traditional Marvel universe, while the X-Universe is all about the superhero as shunned outsider. There's no place for the "rockstars" of the FF in that kind of milieu.

Here's what I'd *seriously* like to see happen, even though it's just pie in the sky dreaming:

1) Fox gives Marvel Studios the FF. The MCU focuses on the classic "four-color" comic books....Hulk, Cap, Thor, Iron Man, Avengers, Fantastic Four, Dr. Strange, Black Panther, etc.
2) Fox expands the X-Universe with new titles and brands, including Wolverine, Deadpool, X-Force, X-Factor, Cable, New Mutants, and others.
3) Marvel Studios gives its "street level"/Marvel Knight heroes to Sony, who then expand into a crimefighter-type universe, including Daredevil, Ghost Rider, Blade, Luke Cage, Iron Fist and Moon Knight.

That's pretty much it, i think those 3 different properties should be in the universes they fit best, and wherever Spider-Man is, the Daredevil should be too

Daredevil is dark. Spider-Man is a mixture of light and dark e.g
Light:
His personality (witty)
Good and likeable supporting cast

Dark:
Some of his Villains like Green Goblin or Carnage
His journey- Dead Parents, Uncle, Girlfriend/ near fiancé

Gotta agree.

Sony is probably too cheap/broke to do Marvel Knights justice. I'd give it to Paramount or Universal who would be required to make at least two movies a year or lose the rights. The rights would return to Marvel after 10 years no matter what. Also Marvel cameos between studios would be allowed.

The whole mandarin thing seems to be Marvel Studio's kyrptonite...

*cough* Mandarin *cough*

Please, Mandarin was NOWHERE near as bad as Dr Doom or Galactus.

Infact, no other villains in the MCU or any other CBM (DC included) were as bad as the Norman Orborne rip off or the giant fart cloud.

I fail to see why the 'Mandarin Twist' was not liked by some people, but the each their own, I suppose

People wanted the mandarin. People also felt lied too. The one thing I liked about it was that it was kept a secret, unlike khan in Star Trek 2

Marco...

...Polo!

Can't say I disagree with being a giant fart cloud as the best way to create a super villian is incredibly stupid.

I wonder how this board would react if they turned Norman Osborn into an actor.

I bet half would whine about it until Judgement Day.

I would wine about it untill judgement day. Certainly beat emo Peter Parker as the the worst treatment of a Spider-Man character.

That was down to budget though, Galactus clearly isn't the cloud, that's an extension of him, we do see his helmet in the fire or whatever it is. So it's down to budget more than anything.

That isn't even the same thing! In the comics, Mandrin isn't the real name of the guy with alien tech rings, infact nobody knows his name. I'm not even going to go over this again with you. Trevor/Osama Bin Mandarin wasn't the real Mandarin, Killian was.

The proper analogy would be what if in a future Spider-Man movie, a guy calling himself Green Goblin in a Green Goblin costume put out videos threatening the city turned out to be an actor and it was all masterminded by the movie's real villain Norman Osborn, who revealed to Spidey at the end that he was the true Green Goblin. How would fans react then?

Parallax. Which was also a giant fart cloud.

Budget? It came down to Rothman thinking giant robots would look too silly on screen and that Galactus would be better as a cloud.

Galactus is still worse, atleast Parallax kinda sorta resembled the comic version, was yellow (piss yellow, but yellow nonetheless) and also floated like the comic version. Galactus on the other hand, shared none of the traits like the comic version.

Ok, my question was after seeing how a majority here hated the twist (the poll) I was asking if something similar happened to GG what would the reaction be like? With respect I think also the real GG would not be called Osbourn and be another corporate CEO. He would also not use his iconic glider and punkin bombs, it would be something similar to perhaps Ultimate GG.

Ok I really didn't like IM3 but there is no need to be a D*** about it people. I should have seen this coming, FOX V.S Marvel. Why can't we enjoy ALL Marvel films?
