Braille is 3 dots high though, and the fortune teller only has 2 rows of dots to hit.

Actually, if you flip the buttons 90 degrees, you can write Braille. Vertically, there's only 2 rows, but on its side, you have the 6 cells to make up Braille.

I tried pi (3.141592) on the dials but it did not work.

I'm back after getting banned...yay!

"Braille" is also a good song by Regina Spektor

THOUGHTS/IDEAS ON HOW TO SOLVE:

I'm still with thinking that the holes are important. The question, to me, is whether or not we have to look through them to see/form something -- OR -- we have to find the pieces that were cut from the tickets. Maybe they have words/information on them and were put elsewhere.

WHAT WE'LL GET:

Since we'll be rewarded with the ability to "see" the "future" I imagine we'll get either a clip/special feature from one of tomorrow's DVD releases, -- OR -- in the event that this website has not been found (i know only that the wiki mentions it) it'll link us to the site where we get to watch tomorrow's happenings via internet.

I hypothesized all of this before the Mr.J-esque message was posted, so who knows how that'll pan out.

Man, I really hope that person was right and one of the locations is Orlando!! I've been dying to participate in these virals in person somehow and it looks like I might finally get the chance!! *KEEPS FINGERS CROSSED*

If this guy isnt the truth, look here. Isn the key BRAILLE? If you read the booth it says "THE GREAT 'SILENT TYPE" SPEAKS... Braille? I mean the dots do look like braille. find the riht 6 letter word, convert it to braile and click the buttons in that order?

I believe you're onto something here. Very good thinking

oh and as for faking as Joker. It's not all too hard if you're out of puberty, have patience, and use your imagination a bit :whatever:

I don't think it is very precise at all, not to mention precision isn't ever an indication of legitimacy. The only hoaxes that ever work are the ones that are precise about the details.

Confectionery and pies are not one in the same though. From websters:
confectionery - 1 : the confectioner's art or business 2 : sweet foods (as candy or pastry) 3 : a confectioner's shop

Now a pie is a sweet food usually, true, though confectioners are usually considered to be places like See's Candies, Hershey, Mars etc. Pies are usually a product of bakeries instead of confectioneries. It does not add up to anything to me. If something comes through officially, then I can believe it, but why would this "last" game also be one of the smallest? (number of cities that is, and yes I know the CFB thing only involves two, but all the Joker games involved close to 20 or more cities).

The whole thing seems highly suspect. People have slaved for hours over games with no help. And here there's something saying to forget the game already? Doesn't seem promising.

The Citizens for Batman site already said the events tomorrrow could be viewed live on their website.

also, you can't click the same fortune button twice...

"Silent Type" implies mute. Is there any way we can turn off the sound effects on the website?

True, But that post also said see you On the Bus - Step 13. Was Gather All My Fans, Still, Why Go Back To Bakeries?

Yeah, it's a fair point. Over here in the UK...Pies are indeed purely pastry and usually not sweet related.

Sweet related stuff IS chocolate and so on.

*thinks*

I tried the order of M-I-M-E......it didn't work. :( Stupid brilliant idea.

:csad: *shoots self in face*

I had started down that path too for second :o

Then I thought about sign language, but I don't know jack about it. Also, the punched out holes had me thinking about how old computers used to use punch cards to input programs into them, but I don't know much about that either.

BTW that message listing Pittsburgh, San Fran, etc. has got to be hoaxed...I mean, why didn't he tell us how he solved it afterwards?

To his credibility, San Francisco is the home of Ghirardelli Square, one of the biggest chocolate havens on earth.

it's not the noise, but the fact that you can't hit the fortune buttons again tells you something.

True, But that post also said see you On the Bus - Step 13. Was Gather All My Fans, Still, Why Go Back To Bakeries?

I thought that had something to do with the CFB gathering tomorrow. I know that's meant to be "Citizens for Batman", but surely it might have something to do with the Joker too? Maybe???

it's the punch in the punch card on the ticket! okay, when you go through, there are certain punches in the cards. they seem to occur in different places, and in some, not at all.

Hey guys, don't know if this suggestion has been made - but I thought that perhaps the cutouts corresponded to buildings on the Gotham Map - located in the appropriate square designated. Maybe some sort of code is revealed when you put them all together - like the message in The Perfect Getaway game.
