I don't think the A is black either. But even so, in l33t or whatever, doesn't 4 stand for A? So backwards it would still spell out ACES (4CES)?

i think the map serves as a frustration. they crafted the tickets specifically with numbers and letters, and didn't include I or O. silent type can be referenced as most of anything you can justify, but what about if you click specific letters, then see your fortune?

most, if not all of the games have been click specific. ltih was color coded, sitting ducks was morse coded, and red balloons was number coded (in the number of clicks to inflate the balloon til their eyes turned blue)

I am actually in school right now to do just that, the machine is called a stenography machine. Basically a form of shorthand.

I suppose, though, 4CES could still be FORCES, too.

I also looked at EPYTTNELIS and thought that maybe it could be TYPE SILENT instead of SILENT TYPE. Only because the game gets very loud as you go on collecting the fortunes. I did try collecting them all and then typing SILENT (Type "Silent"), but got zilch.
