Will anyone be seeing X3 at the Leicester Square Odeon?

how do you class a normal person?

lol, I was just being random quoting Senator Kelly, but I think what I was trying to get at is there's probably no particular type of person you can lump X-Fans into.

A lot will surely be geeks. Others, "normal" with perhaps geekish tendencies. But then there's probably tons who aren't geekish.

But let's face it, comics and sci fi films ARE geeky things to be into, you must have a LITTLE bit of geek in you to be interested in them.

Which is why chavs wouldnt be fans lol

But I'm sure chavs would find the special effects and action pretty satisfying and "COOL" in a chavvy, not geeky way...

Are you going to do it this year? When is the premiere?

Definitely.:up::up::up:

I'm not sure if the date has been set yet (it might have). I normally find out about a week before it happens but it should be about a week before May 26.

I think Pirateking (from reading earlier) has actually got tickets to the premiere  so will be sitting with the stars.

Lucky ************* but have to say well done:up:.

Heck. I'm a geek. It's my thing, and because of that it's kind of cool. I think your only a 'geek' if you're embarassed by it.

so youre emberassed by it?

No. 'Geek's (in inverted commas as in the stereotypical sort who get bullied etc). I'm not embarassed so I'm less of the stereotypical geek.

your sister?!

luckily enough ive got 2 friends who are very much x fans and know alot bout the marvel universe, so thats one showin

also got my girl to go with

I've got a lot of different mates who want to see X3 (that's why I'm going to multiple showings in the first week with different sets of people) but none of them knew anything about X-Men in 2000. Back then I was just banging my head against a wall. But at least I managed to make a fan out of my sister.

Alot of geeks revel in it lol Did you watch Beauty and the Geek?

I love declaring I'm a geek but people just look at me like I'm weird and sy "Brett...you're not a geek"

Which dissapoints me haha

But at a training course yesterday, learning about dealing with peoples sickness, holiday, wages etc we hadta enter people into the system for one of the exercises and I added Miss Kitty Pryde.

When the guy said who knows where he got such a name from and I said "she's an X-Man of course, go see X-Men 3 in May and you'll see" he said "is anyone else worried that we're letting him loose on our wages?" haha

The Leicester Square odeon is where I want to see King Kong and there was no x-3 teaser!
I had to get it out... :o

I would book a taxi beforehand.

And about the underground not running that late - did not know that! Mental note: could be useful  :D

Whenever I go out in London I have to stay at mates who live centrally or stay out till 5 or 6 when the tubes start running again. :(

Everyone here goes on about teasers, TV spots etc. We Brits get everything 3 months late. :(

This thread has doubled in pages in the last hour!

When I see it, I've got my sis whos an X-fan (the cartoons and movies atleast) then Graham, whos nearly as excited as me, but he only knows the movies. Then his girlfriend and her twin, who only saw the first 2 last month, when I made them, but they liked them and a couple of other friends who are fans of the movies and have their excitement elvel upped by me keep hyping it.

But that's all of us in one showing. I'm not sure if they'll wanna go again, and the cinema is out of the way so I can't go without a lift...

26

I'll probably see the evening showing (5, 6 or 7 pm) with her so I'll already know what happens before the midnight showing. The evening showing is 85% as good as the midnight showing. I just need a break in between.

It's not just teasers and tv spots. We don't get the PROGRAMMES that they accompany. That annoys me. I can't go on any of the tv program threads here because everyone else is like a season ahead and spoil the plots :(

The only programme we get before anyone else is Doctor Who which is cool

Talk about devoted!

I'll try to see it a few times, but with atleast a week between them...I don't wanna wear it out. I do that all the time with songs, love them, anticipate them, play them over and over...and then they lose their magic.

It's not that much of a problem as loads of places I like in London stay open late anyway especially after the new regulations.

I'm going to have to do some serious rallying around to get people to come. I was going to compromise and go to the evening showing but now I'm determined!!

It is in my GCSE week though. I have THREE english exams that day...
