If Sony removes of its dead weight, gets a better editor on these movies, and with the writing doesn't get tangled up in the different stories but interweave them together, they'll be fine. I think Drew Goddard will restore some faith in the franchise with "Sinister Six" but that is if Sony doesn't meddle. If they can step back and let him create versus every once and awhile intruding or taking the reins like they've done to both Webb and Raimi then things will get worse, but if they let the filmmaker just set out to do what he wants to do then things will get better, but it's a long shot.
I think people are anxious to see a "Sinister Six" movie but I don't know about "ASM3" sadly. That movie divided a lot of people. I happen to enjoy it for what its worth even if I feel certain things could've been cut or rewritten entirely (Max Dillon/Electro and Dr. Kafka) and more character development could've been given to Peter and Harry's relationship, but overall I understood what Webb was trying to achieve or do with it. It does feel like time is slipping out of Peter's grasp and he's got all these things to overcome but time is literally not on his side. I think one can't argue that the concept or idea for it was pretty cool it's just some things could've worked better than others.
