I guess from the teaser that Harry will get at least some of his dad's equipment, but will he get the powers that his dad had, or will he be dumb enough to take on Spidey with just human powers?
If there exists a thread already about this, sorry. Lock it up.

Exactly what powers did his dad have?

Enhanced strength and reactions and durability.

As far as I know, Harry has access to the same serum that his father had. I think there was even a scene where Harry held up some at the end of the first movie.

I don't think he'll take the serum. I think he'll just try to take Spidey on with all the evil gadgets.

Well it looked like he rammed into a wall and made a whole in the trailer, so he would need super strength, but I may be wrong.

Maybe he'll wear the Goblin costume underneath the other clothes/costume which will give him some padding and protection.

He'd be insane to fight Spidey without the serum.

He might not even know what the serum is.

I think he doesn't at first.
He's dumb and fights Spider-Man at the start of the movie with no powers and a two-minute costume. That part in the trailer where Peter dodges Harry's punch and makes Harry hit the wall, Harry gets knocked out and falls to the ground. There was a set picture of him on the ground and I think that happens.

At the end he takes the serum and gets a better Goblin costume.

That would be cool, like Norman keeps bugging him to take the serum, but he refuses, then gets beat down by Pete. So then Norman keeps bugging him until he finally gives in at the end.

*Harry comes back to the Osborn Mansion all beat up after the first battle*

Norman: You see Harry? I told you to take the serum! But you didn't want to because you thought it was drugs! Now look what happened! Spider-Man kicked your *BEEP!*

That whole room is a trap most likely. Why's there serum in there? does the goblin need extra? I think on the cartoon, harry didn't become gg2 by choice and it might be the way they're doing it here also. we see him being attacked with some explosive thing in the trailer and he's wearing the same shirt an has the same poofy hair like he did at the end of sm2. therefore I believe harry will step on a trigger and recieve the goblin treatment thanks to his father's preparations from sm1.

As I recall from the first movie, the military wanted to shelve the whole project, so it's likely that Norman took everything he could to ensure that the project wasn't lost.

he obliterates that wall in the trailer with his fist guys...

if he hadn't taken the serum yet he would have just smashed into the brick wall, broken his arm, and fallin to the street unconscious, doing no where NEAR, if any at all, the dammage he did in the trailer.

Harry punches the sh#t out of that wall and makes the bricks go flying with his fist.

he took the serum...

spider-x is right, he makes a huge hole in the brick wall, and i assume Harry is not an idiot. I mean why would he fight spider-man without takeing the serum lol?

In SM 2 he looked like he didn't know what it was. Techniquelly why should he, His dad worked for the goverment so his dad probably wouldn't tell him. I don't like the idea of Harry not becoming the goblin by choice.

Actually if you look again there is already a hole in the wall, harry just upsets it.

I think will infact be stupid enough to take on pete without the serum but then get his butt handed back to him. Then he takes it goes insane and hopefully gets a much better costume.

Im just hopin they wanted to keep the new look underwraps for the time being.

good question. i think he will have powers from teh beginning.

i think that in the movies there is noooo way that a man could fly with teh glider without the super powers. so since we see harry on the glider i think he has super powers.

IMO he can not fly with the glider without the super powers since he did nto have hes whole like training like for exampel bruce.

Yeah, he'll most likely use the serum.

he rams into and breaks a brick wall on the side of a building in the teaser, i think its safe to say he gets the enhanced strength and all.

That's what I'm guessing (or at least hoping) as well: Harry tries to take on Spidey without the serum and gets his @ss handed to him. So later he takes the serum. That being said, I wonder when he'll take it: as soon as he gets home? in order to help Peter in the end against Venom and Sandman? Right before another fight against Peter?

That or I hope he doesn't take it at all: he's gotta know it drove Dad bonkers - he's not completely thick - he can put 2 and 2 together. I'll be very disappointed if he's so quick to drink the serum.

Yeah, that hole in the wall was really upset... It was crying, really depressed for like a week!

Sorry man, good word usage and I am blasting it.
