Hero role for Venom???

Whatever happens, Venom can't be a solo character because he sucks as a solo character. All his solo stories sucked.

Raimi killed off Goblin and Doc Ock, so he won't hesitate to kill off other great enemies too. They are kind of digging themselves into a hole by killing off villains, not leaving anything open for sequels. This just mean they'll have to use new villains each movie.

He didn't clarify that point. If he had that Ock might not be dead, some people would clamour for a sequel.

I believe Alfred Molina said he is signed for another Spidey film, but Raimi/Sony has an option of putting him in SM3 or SM4. Whether it's flesh and blood or a dream sequence, who knows. But word is, he ain't dead.

In his first appearance, Spidey found out that when Venom spun a web, it drained some of his energy. So, he just made him spin so much webbing that he collapsed.

One of the biggest attractions to Venom to me is that he's been on Spider-Man's side loads of times. I'd love to see him turn good at the end.

Venom is never really on Spider-Man's side, he just makes temporary truces until the danger is over and then it's right back to tryin to eat his Brain.

The only reason he teamed with him in Maximum Carnage is because he hates Carnage more than Spider-Man.

Hm. I remeber hearing somewhere that Sandman will have a wife and kid or something stupid like that? If that's true he'll probably be set up as a symphathetic villain . Maybe Pete will use the symbiote, kill sandman in fron of his wife and kid , realize what a monsters he's become, get the sucker off of him, accidently pass it on to brock, who basically does evil deeds as a sort of incognito venom type thing, making spidey have an even worse public image, and all the while spidey has to deal with harry. Pete has a fight or two with venom, and later figures out he's brock. In the final fight between Harry and Peter, peter is almost dead, and Harry is about to kill him. Venom shows up and peter pleads with him and the symbiote to help him or something, the symbiote just wants peter dead, but brock finally manages to realize that spiderman is a hero, and it was all a misunderstanding, so he attacks and kills harry, but gets a fatal wound in the process.

Probably won't happen, just throwing my idea out there.

i think there gonna go with harry for the turning good in the end story line because he's pete's best friend so venom probaly won't be a hero. we might get the sympathetic villian role with sandman because he has a family. i realy cant think of what else to do with venom except pure evil or drunk with power.
