Sequels will spiderman survive

They should reboot The Amazing Spider-Man.

It doesn't matter if sony is just going to interfere and cut everything out of the movie again. Both asm1 and 2 would be at least an 80 on RT if they didn't cut so much form the movie.

Hopefully it would be as good the cartoon with the same name. It been too many years since we got a good Spider-Man film.

why not sony Just make a Spiderman's shattered dimension movie including different spiderman with raimi spiderman and Webb spiderman which are both sonys and show venom and carnage invasion this will expand the spider universe for fans and boost the merchandise and games .

Shattered Dimensions had no proper story. It was just a lot of dimension jumping.

If Sinister Six doesn't have Spider-Man in it and the team is formed to do good, then I fully expect this franchise to be sold back to Marvel. Another reboot would be suicide. Sony cannot afford a single other mistake.

And Kurtzman used to be able to write back when he was working on Xena, Mission IMpossible 3 and Alias but having read his Star Trek reboot script and seen Star Trek Into Darkness and TASM2, it's obvious that he's just phoning it in now and studios are content to hire him to do just that. Either Sony is going to fire him or they're going to really clamp down on him and force him to work with producers who aren't going to let him turn in sub-par work. Also, I'd replace him as director for Venom if The Mummy bombs.

Sony isn't going anywhere until they're finished with every movie they've announced.

They're going to milk this cow as much as they can, even if they have their heads barely sticking out of an ocean of mediocrity.

Kudos for them doing that.

Indeed.

I'm skeptical for the spin offs but I'm glad Sony and the producers are going along with it despite TASM2 mixed reception with the fanbase. They know the risks but they are doing their own thing with it anyway

The sinister 6 will be something that no one has seen before (which might actually be a good thing) so it's not just another spider-man movie

And no personally I don't think its gonna be spidey teaming up with the villains, or them belching good guys, and I don't think its gonna be a light toned movie beyond some humour since the same guy done cabin in the woods

Well if they're going to plan things out until 2019, then sell the rights, Marvel will have a street level TV universe that already includes SHIELD, Daredevil, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist and hopefully She-Hulk, Moon Knight, Punisher and The Runaways and supporting protagonists like White Tiger, Elektra, Misty Knight, Coleen Wing, Microchip, Rachel Cole and Echo.

That along with characters who aren't fighters joining the cast and all their villains and Spider-Man will fit right in by then.

that's very unlikely to happen for many reasons

It's a hypothetical for if Sony pushes out four more films which underperform without even trying to get it right. Right now, Sony is trying to push out a spin-off to an underwhelming film series that's all about the bad guys which nobody asked for.

Worse yet, Andrew Garfield isn't even confirmed to be in Sinister Six and Sony kept the widely reviled writer behind the first two Transformers films on board to not only write but DIRECT future films.

I believe that Sinister Six may be a good movie but the very concept alienates audiences so much that I doubt it will be as profitable as it could be. Black Cat might be a hit and I'm actually looking forward to that one unless Avi Arad decides to ruin everything. Kurtzman involved, I really have low hopes for TASM3 and Venom.
