OK we've seen the promo art and some limited character designs. We've seen and examined the trailer extensively. And we've also gotten to listen to some of the awesome, cinematic music.

At first there were a lot of complaints, and there still are, about the content and focus of the show. Specifically Wolverine's name being in the title and being positioned as the leader of the X-men.

So basically now that we've seen the basic cast, heard their work, watched the trailer, and listened to some of the music, what's your general opinion of this show and do you plan on watching it come 2009? Put aside whether you actually get Nicktoons or not, and just select if you want to watch the show or not.

Also if you still have concerns or complaints about the show, now that it has a network and a set release date, what are they?

Of course. It's X-Men. I hope as the series progresses, Wolverine becomes less of a focus.

Me too... and yes, I will be watching this show next year.

I'll see it when it is premiered in Spain. I hope not to wait too much.

It's X-Men...I have to watch it...

Just to show my excitement level for this show, I am more excited about this series than the actual Wolverine movie.

I voted yes... but not because of Wolverine... its the X-Men part I like.

duh of course. the more to feed my X fix

even though i m getting really sick of wolverine mania, i'll still watch this show. as long it has x-men in the title i'm there.

I get the disappointment with saturation of Wolverine. BUT I mean you can't forget that Wolverine is still a great character. Some of the best episodes to come out of the 90's series were the Wolverine eps.

Plus the show is also synergy for the new Wolverine movie, so there's that too. That's probably the main reason we aren't seeing it for . . . another whole year :( .

Its ridiculous and a joke that in the comics Wolverine is in so many books that characters in the comics actually joke about it. It's horribly diluted the character, and it makes no sense that he's in every frigging book on every frigging team. It made no sense that he was put in New Avengers in the first place while still being an X-man on all the X-teams. And in the 1990's when it was mostly Hama writing Wolverine, Wolverine mostly stayed a solo act and away from the X-men until all that Onslaught stuff.

I can still never wrap my head around how in one book Wolverine is destroying the MU, and in another he's a part of the New Avengers. And in another he's on Whedon's Astonishing team.

You should watch it online. I know i'm not gonna wait til they show it in my country. That just takes way too long.

I will definitely be watching Wolverine And The X-Men. There are a few reasons for this. One, Wolverine is my favorite character in The X-Men, Two as a fan going back to Giant Size X-Men in 1975 I enjoy most of the characters in the new series like Wolverine, Cyclops, Storm, Collosus, Rogue, Beast and Kitty Pryde. Three, after X-Men Evolution messed with the continuity of The X-Men by having them as teens ala the new Iron Man on Nicktoons, I have been waiting for a good X-Men series since the cancellation of Fox Kids 90's classic. Maybe someday Marvel will regain the rights to all their earlier series and create their own channel, but til then I hope they still make some good new series.

The only thing I am not crazy about is having Emma Frost a member of The Hellfire Club as a member of The X-Men. To me she is one of the villains that should have stayed evil.

I know, but watching it in english.... definetly not, hehe. I want spanish voices, hehe.

You know Angamb, I think it was already picked up for Spanish channel broadcasting. Picked up by both that and BBC before the US.

really?

how do you know it?

I haven't seen any news about it.... I'll search it.

I think it was on Comics Continuum or something like that.

searching it in that site seens impossible, it doesn't have a search option.

I haven't turned down an X-Men show yet.. :p

I don't get Nicktoons, but where there is a will, there is a way and I will most definitely find a way to watch my X-Men.

It is the internet. Just FYI, Nickelodeon has a Nicktoons section on Time Warner VOD.

nah...not interesting at all.
but if there's an episode featuring Deadpool...then I'll certainly check.

Then I guess that is how I'll be watching it...until DVD, anyway.

I wonder if YTV will pick this show up and we will get to see episodes broadcast earlier in some places.
