The Amazing Spider-Man With Great Power, Comes Great Lounging - Part 10

Lol, no she didn't.

The original Catwoman was really different from what she is today; she only became like that after Black Cat was revealed.

:lmao:

Are you serious?

Catwoman in West's series in the late 60s - cat-like persona

Black Cat was created in 1979.

Do the math there.

Interesting. What about Batman & Robin?
A perfect 10
He said Batman Forever is his least favorite Batman film

Since most scored their rating for Batman films:
1. Batman (1989) - 10/10. My favorite film since forever, and my favorite Batman/Bruce Wayne/Batman voice
2. The Dark Knight/Batman Begins - 9.5/10
3. Batman (1966) - 10/10 (this classic deserves no less)
4. The Dark Knight Rises - 8.5/10
5. Batman & Robin - 7/10. F***ing Favorite version of Freeze
Batman Forever - 7/10
6. Batman Returns - 5/10

Actually, with the exception of Batman villains I really don't like DC villains, or characters overall to be honest. Marvel is so, so much better IMO.
I love them both, they're both pretty simila, beside the multiple reboots in DC and many cities, they're both very similar
Superheroes struggle with their lives and stuff
Green Arrow was a rich man, lost his fortune, became mayor, Green Arrow became wanted...etc etc... not far from Marvel style of story telling

And Superman is Spider-Man/Captain America in a great way
Green Goblin is my all time favorite villain. As for heroes, Spidey is first with Captain America second and DD is third.
My favorite villains are Riddler and Green Goblin.Iron Patriot

As for favorite heroes:
1. Spider-Man. Best power set, great personality, fun stories. Dude keeps me attached to the superhero world, and he's the reason I know all of you, otherwise I wouldn't join this site or care as much for Superheroes and comic books
2. Superman. He got me into comics, but not steady, now I appreciate him more
3. Iron Man
4. Hulk
5. Batman

I feel the very opposite way, haha. I feel that Happy Endings is a waste of time and Big Bang Theory a phenomenal show.

I hate that BBT tosses cheap jokes at you non stop and then this over the top laugh track. You can feel how they try too hard all the time. It's like this annoying friend who tries to be funny in every sentence he says. Happy Endings feels down to Earth, real and comfortable with a great balance where the jokes aren't in your face and has a nice charm to them compared to BBT.

They don't try hard, imo. I love their comical style and BBT is probably one of the few shows that actually makes me laugh besides shows like It's Always Sunny, New Girl, Ben & Kate, Bob's Burgers.

Does Raising Hope get any love?

Raising Hope is pretty hit and miss. Sometimes I'll like an episode, sometimes I won't. Same went for My Name Is Earl who had the same showrunner.

I either love or like Raising Hope episodes. Its probably my favorite sitcom out there right now. I tried watching Ben & Kate which airs right after, but it just didn't do it for me. Same with New Girl.

I never watched My Name is Earl, but its on my list of shows to check out.

Yeah I'm pretty lenient on anything Batman. Only reason I didn't give Batman Forever a 10/10 was because it didn't know what it wanted to be, it was both serious and campy and that didn't work well with me. Still a damn good Batman movie if you look at it one or the other way.

I think it's overall a decent film with a good plot, and makes for good laughs
Most popular complaints geared toward that film are the nipples (there in Batman Forever too) and the Credit Card (pretty awesome feature imo, always good for laughs, and the card itself looks great)

I started watching Earl. Most of the time it's funny, even when it's not it's still worth watching because Joy and Catalina are so damn hot.

The new episode of Raising Hope tonight is supposed to feature Christopher Lloyd and a DeLorean. Hmm...

Zooey is super hot in New Girl but there's something about the show I don't like.

Its just not my type of humor, but I can see why others would like it.

Continuing the same conversation with more relevancy, has anyone watched Comic Book Men on amc?

An awesome Meshuggah album! :)

Koloss is Swedish for "colossus"

You should see it again with in mind that it's a full on comedy similar to Adam West's Batman.

Thing is, that kind of comedy worked for the Adam West Batman back in the 60s. It didn't work for Batman & Robin in the late 90s.

Yeah, don't care for it much because one particular guy gets on my nerves.

Which guy is that? Walter?

The time period doesn't really matter, looking back in hindsight B&R works well as a comedy.

There are times when he can be a big jerk when people are trying to sell their comic books. I understand the store has to make a profit, but geez...
