Why in the hell does it say December 2010 for the release date?

Dude, 12.02.10 = 12th February 2010.

Most non Americans have the day date 1st, then the month, followed by the year.

And I hated 'the tearing the skin off idea when transforming' in Van Helsing.

I agree. I mean, I'll give Sommers points for trying to do something original and it was better than the vampire teeth morphing into needles but in the end, cgi gore is cartoonish.

Hell, yes.

Dont get me started about my theory that practical make-up is best for use in the Horror genre and CG is best served for use in the sci-fi genre. Lol.

Actually, come to think of it, day/month/year makes more sense because it's in sequential order from the shortest part of the dat to the longest...

Same with our measuring systems.

I don't know why we do crap like that.

Tough competition for The Wolfman..."Valentine's Day", a romantic comedy, opens February 12th as well. take a look at this cast, which includes Taylor Lautner of New moon: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0817230/ ...you know all the 14 year old girlies will be out in force to see this.

I fear for The Wolfman's success...:csad:

Well, it is, Universal with how badly they've been doing I doubt they think this will pull in big numbers.

we number the month first because when we say the date we say February Twelfth, not the Twelfth of February

also the metric system is so much mor logical than standard

That's okay, because 14-year-old girls are probably not this movie's demographic anyway.

Excellent point.

And to be honest, I wouldnt want to go see a werewolf film that was.

Little endian sequential form (Day/month/year) is used by the majority of the world. The USA (and a very select few other countries) use middle endian sequential form (Month/day/year).

So, America uses the sequence that hardly anyone else uses and makes less sense. Go figure. (I'm joking, of course :D)

Anyways, lets try to get the thread back on track, eh?

Perhaps not, but girls in their late teens and early twenties will more than likely drag their boyfriend's to see Valentine's Day, leaving The Wolfman ass out. :yay:
