Good clips. Hope the movie is awesome. I've been looking foward to it for years.

The only CGI that needs work is when we see him from his back running along the building. Looks like a game.

I don't think the CG looks too bad. It may look worse on a larger screen, but it looked ok on my little computer monitor

I wonder how many wolf-outs we'll get in this movie? I'm going to guess at least 3.
The 1st one will whet our appetites, the 2nd one will be big and outrageous, 3rd for the big climactic ending.

Clips look good.

I love the shot of the Wolfman on the tram eyeing up the passengers through the cracked pane of glass.

What's weird about that actual Wolfman footage, I thought part of the reason for the delay was to put him on 4 legs(Animal Farm reference for 1,000, Alex) yet he still appears on two.

Well>>>
I've noticed he drops to his hands only when he runs or lunges, but I think they may have been working on what your are saying with the other werewolf in the movie. I'm just guessing though.

I prefer my Wolfman on two legs. WolfMAN. As much as American Werewolf was great, the thing that bugged me is that it looked like a freaking bear.

I always thought they were the same. A "werewolf" on four legs is just a wolf.

if i recall correctly, that's something they're doing for the other werewolf in the film

personally, it would have killed the movie for me if they ****ed up Rick Baker's perfect wolfman design, so i'm glad they didn't do that.

Had to watch those clips, even though I wanted to stay away. Benicio has nice Lon Chaney Jr. wibe going on some of those clips, I think.

Awesome clips! Especially the spoiler-ific BTS clips I seen this morning.

Anyone see the Anthony Hopkins Grey/White Wolfman yet?

Have there been any reviews for it yet? Given all the delays for its release date, I've been concerned that there's something wrong with it.

The first two delays were probably the marketing. Then one of the producers, Stuber, said the push to November 2009 following the reshoots that July was for pacing reasons. Then the push to the finite February 2010 date was due to them "wanting to finish the CGI on time."

Stuber also said it was Johnson's idea to bring in Walter Murch "as a fresh pair of eyes" during the July '09 reshoots to tighten up the pacing. He said that Mark Goldblatt came to help with a complicated London sequence for about two to three weeks afterwards, but that was it for his involvement. The vast majority of scenes edited in The Wolfman were by Murch and Dennis Virkler (the film's first editor).

So is Anthony Hopkins supposed to become a werewolf? I hope that doesn't turn out dumb.

Yeah, that's been a kind-of known spoiler for a while, and you see the werewolf that attacks Lawrence off that Rune stone in the Trailer is Grey/White.

So you may want to edit your post.

It's not the first time someone posted something like that in this forum without spoiler warnings.

Been out all day, just got home and the Wolf Man thread is still on fire! Nice to see that...

I have a spoilerish question, see if any of you have been wondering about this as well:
There is a moment in a few of the trailers and in one of the clips, where you see Inspector Abberline has been injured, as if by the Wolf Man. Is that a possible indication that he too may become a werewolf at some point????? That'd be weird....Anyone else notice this?

I did notice that and wondered the same thing. Could be a small sequel set up.

Who has bought the action figure? It's a 7 inch, covered in blood, 100% badass. We've had them at a video store I work at for months, and I got mine as soon as it came in.

Yup, curious to see where they go with it.

Got the 12" one. Badass.

I got the 12 inch bloody cloth figure, and it is amazing. I also gave in and ordered the 7 inch a couple of days ago; looking forward to getting it.
It looks great and also I love that it comes with the cane.
