Im too lazy to browse clips and trailers, lol. Care to reveal what he's holding?

Can't wait to see this! Its been a while since a good werewolf movie.

I hope this inspires a resurgence in the old Universal Monster movies. I'm optimistic

For me, a werewolf movie is only as good as its transformation sequences. I guess we have this guy
<----
to thank for that. And I haven't seen a truly good one since "The Howling". CGI will never measure up to a good, talented prosthetics man. Anyways, it looks like the transformations in this movie may actually be decent.

As The Wolfman's premiere is nearing, I thought I'd share some of my early adventures with photoshop. I did some Wolfman related things, and this was back in 2007!
Anyways, here's some "teasers" or whatever. Nothing serious:

Nothing spoilerish about them, just didn't want to take too much space with this post. I have more, but they are too embarrasing to be seen again. Although, I think this so unintentionally funny, that I have to show it again...

Wolfman...oh my god...that last one is painfully hilarious.

The first one though is very cool. I could actually see that as a legitimate poster.

What you say in the 3rd one is funny! Hahaha! The twist on the name is funny in a clever way.

Thanks for sharing these!

PS. You should print them out and mail them to Del Toro. I am sure his reaction would be priceless!

lol, thanks chez. There was a myspace profile that many claimed was Benicio del Toro's actual profile, and I posted them there. Don't know if it really was him tho...

Is that Rick Baker or Rob Bottin doing the moon walk in your Avatar?

While I appreciate the support for traditional FX work in bigger budgeted films, I believe that it is a dying art due to lack of investment from the studios. There have been hundreds of advancements in make-up and animatronics since the early 80's, but studios and film makers just don't want to take the time to push the envelope and would rather go the CG route.

I am hopping Hopkins is asked to be Dr Frankenstein for its would be a sweep of the monster remakes for he was if Dracula, then Wolfman so it be cool.

Very nice.

The problem is that Hopkins is too old for the role. Maybe Victor's father in a remake. As for a new Dr. Frankenstein I got two names in mind: Guy Pearce or Rufus Sewell.

LOL!! You posted them on his myspace page! HAHAHA! You are mean!

I just seen some new footage this morning, in the BTS with Benicio.

In it you see the Werewolf that attacks him is clearly Grey/White. Most likely, it's Daddy.

I agree, Hopkins would have to play a lesser role in the Frankenstein movie, and that could be a deal breaker for a star as big as he is. It would be nice if he made cameo though.

I am sure Guy Pearce or Rufus Sewell would be excellent in the role, (those are good picks) but the way Hollywood works, it is unlikely they would be cast, because they are not currently "hot" on the market.

Where did you see the new footage?

About 1:58 in you see what I'm talking about...

Hahaha! It's the last video featurette I posted a link to a few posts up on this page! Yeah, I caught that too, it's the werewolf that attacks him early on. But...
What if that isn't the father but...the brother?! And what if he kills his brother? Not knowing of course that it is. In an early draft of the script his father is trying to convince him not to go on the hunt. He does anyway. It could either be the father or the brother.
