Wolverine and the X-Men

Found Episode 1 in english. Pretty good overall. Though with Canada being the only place we know of so far that has had an episode broadcast in english, I dont think we'll see any uploaded episode 2's until next sunday.

Generally with tv shows I wait until we get them in England rather than cheat. But with cartoons, english channels are pretty pathetic and annoying. ITV showed the same 12 episodes of Justice league over and over for the last few months. Cartoon network when they got X-Men evo a few years back cycled the same five episodes each week. And the BBC as we all know ballsed up with this show.

Argh. The uploaded eisodes on Youtube have ALREADY been shutdown. Man....

i thought this was an American production. why is everyone else getting it 5 months before us?

well they took down the english version of watx, and the account also either got closed or deleted. anyone else know where to find it? marvel is pretty tight about keeping this show underwraps in the states.
in other marvel news: marvel has started to post episodes of evo on their website.

really? i really hope they re-release the first two seasons of evo on dvd, and finally put out season four.

i dont want like 6 or 7 volumes of the same season, especially for two seasons!

and season four was the best out of all of them and you cant get it!

Grey's anatomy and Sex and the City get released on DVD boxsets about three months after the season is on TV. X-Men evolution, Stargate and other comic cartoon or Sci-fi shows get released about three years after the show is cancelled, let alone airs the season. And Greys and SATC are the ones on endless repeats...

actually... Grey's and SitC, like most current running television shows, (except for SITC since its off the air) have a new season come out in September, just in time for the new season to start... so no, 3 months after the season is on TV? lol no... try a year after that season started airing :o

Thing is, Grey's Anatomy is the most popular, highest rated show on TV. Sex And The City one of the most popular cable shows ever. And they got a lot of money behind them and tons of studio support. So it makes sense they would get those out quickly, since there's a lot of money on the DVD market for those shows as well.

my point was there not coming out any faster then other current running tv shows...

new seasons of Smallville, Supernatural, Ugly Betty, Gossip girl, desperate houswives, ghost wisperer, medium, heroes, etc... all these shows have the "last season" come out on DVD right before the new season airs on tv... just likey grey's. Grey's isnt spitting dvds out faster then other shows... its average for a currently running show. Cartoons on the other hand always see to be very delayed.

Most companies make those shows for adults who, they know that adults can buy the sets. Cartoons are still thought as children televison, and adults decide if they can get the show or not. A show like Smallville sells more dvds than Transformers animated would.

Unfortunately, again those shows simply have more support behind them then animated cartoon shows.

Look how hard it was to get the DCAU shows on DVD, as well as actual season sets.

Most of these companies just don't animation as seriously as the live action stuff.

well yeah, all im saying is current running tv shows all get there DVD coming out when the new season starts in order to get people ready for the new season. Animated shows never do that (even family guy doesnt do it that way.. its more on a random way as well)

My point really is that shows that women watch come out faster than any show a man or child may watch. Its a female shopping market, and that aint a sexist comment. F'rinstance, movie-wise Iron Man is coming out in the UK in October when it was at the cinema in May. SATC comes out in a week or so and was in the cinema in June. Yet IM did way better.

your point is stupid, sorry but it is... especially when saying its a female shopping market? you do realize typically men buy more electronics, movies, and video games then women right?

its shows PEOPLE watch. shows like 24 and Prison Break and Sarah Connor Chronicles comes out exactly around the same time, when there season is about to start. Its simply that most cartoon shows do not follow this formula.. why? i dunno, its probably the demand though.

Movie release dates like Iron Man are simply set up for different reasons. Movies that come out in May and June Always, and o do mean ALWAYS... usually come out at the end of September or October. Typically higher anticipated movies, may take longer (the spider-man movies usually end up coming out at the end of October, similar to how TDK will be coming out in i believe December. Movies that do not do so well at box office, usually come out alot sooner then that 4-5 month gap.

Most summer movies come out in the Fall/winter just in time for the holidays..

I'd agree that its a slightly stupid point about DVD's as I had overlooked how timely Prison Break, 24, Lost and things come out. Though that said, those are shows that my girlfriend and I watch together. But SATC, Greys, ANTM, OC, Desperate housewives etc that come out like clockwork are shows predominantly for women. Smallville, Stargate, The Unit - overly testosteroney shows are very slow to release in comparison. And your points about mens shopping are valid. But walk through any mall, any town centre, and its 80% clothes and shoes, and 80% of those are womens clothes and shoes. Mens stores (electronic, DIY, video games etc) tend to be more in the depot style places away from mainline shopping. Just a tendancy though, not a rule.

Anyway. Point being that cartoons are incredibly slow to come out on DVD, which seems odd because there are times in every parents day where it is useful to be able to plonk your 5yr old down in front of the telly with a dvd to keep them occupied while you do whatever it is you havent been able to get done all day. Yet instead you have to plonk them down in front of the cartoon channels (if you have them) and pray that they like Ed Edd and Eddy or Storm Hawks or something cos that's all thats gonna be on on endless repeat.

Dude, i visit a site called Video ETA, they show ALL the release dates of movies, been following that kinda stuff for a while, ALL current shows, come out just IN TIME FOR THERE NEW SEASON..(shows that have ended a while ago, tend to be more randomized) Your points are ridiculous, because there based on you anticipating something, making it seem longer, you could care less about the "female" shows, so you feel as if they come out at a faster rate (and they dont). "Overly testosteroney" TV shows come out at the EXACT same rate. and what do "womens stores" have to do with this at all? dude do you even realize how ignorant your coming off? not to mention sexist? TV shows come out slow because most kids dont really get into collecting "seasons" and parents dont really wanna spend $40-$50 on a cartoon for a kid, movie companies know this, so they tend to release them in volumes, throw a few episodes in and put a $15-$20 price tag on it and they tend to sell. This is why it takes sooooo long for a season to come out of a "all ages" cartoon.

it sucks, very much so, but your other comments are just ignorant. I'm just telling you how it works.
