Wolverine and the X-Men to premiere on 8/2/08

I contacted BBC, but they reply with some mumbo jumbo, with an automated response telling me to view a site about "What's On"...how lame. What is their actual e-mail address??

I knew this was going to be too easy for us LOL!

Should have just given it to Cartoon Network or Jetix!

It's August and we haven't even seen an AD for it yet on the BBC!

I think BBC totally had us on this.

Apparently August has been changed to "sometime this year."

I got the same about programmes subject to change and only confirmed 7 days in advance. Radio Times is OWNED by the BBC! If it isn't scheduled then they put a TBA in. The Whats on Guide only tells you what is on today, what was on yesterday and what is on tomorrow. We'll see when RT updates again.

I don't see what is on that could halt the premiere episode. Its CBBC they have no good programmes! If anything they should have started sooner because if it starts in 2 weeks it will clash with the olympics. Now do you see why they don't advertise until a week in advance?

Sorry to you brits getting yanked around like this.

Either way you guys still have some of the hottest women on the planet.

The BBC publicity office just told me there is not yet any transmission date for this series. I'll keep you posted if I hear any more.

I got an email saying the BBC doesn't even know if this show is going to air! they said there is no record of it but If i read it would be on then to check whats on.

BBC sounds pretty incompetent right now. But then . . . that's no surprise :D .

Okay I don't know if this has been talked about but just noticed that on Wiki Gambit was moved from other characters area to x-men.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wolverine_and_the_X-Men

Fans are just sc**wing around with the teams of the characters, making sure their favorite characters are on the teams they want them to be.

Someone moved Lorna as well from Brotherhood to X-Men. Now, it is entirely possible by the end of the season or sometime next season she will move over to the X-Men from the Brotherhood, but the only people she has been seen with yet to date is Magneto and Scarlet Witch in the promos. It is quite clear she will start off as a member of the Brotherhood and if she starts off with the Brotherhood she should be in the Brotherhood section. If she will change over the course of the series is an entirely different question, it is also something fans editing wiki have no clue about.

It exemplifies one of my main problems with wiki, I could go to wiki and change Scarlet Witch to the X-Men category because I either want to see her as an X-Man or think she will become an X-Man. Just because it is on wiki doesn't make it true.

Yeah Blum said Gambit guests in two episodes, and I don't think Blum is a liar. He's at least a more trustworthy source more than wiki.

The voice actor for Magneto in Wolverine and the X-Men as well as for Tony Stark speaks

TVO: You capture an interesting side of an elderly Tony Stark in this story. Someone who has to take it upon himself to become a father and raise these children, but also someone who has done some morally questionable things. With that said, I'm very curious what your view on Magneto is in Wolverine And The X-men?

TK: Well, we had some similar issues with that because there are things occur in the series with Magneto that force him or allows him to get to see the fatherly side, both good and bad. The relationship he has with his children obviously each child are different. And there are moments when he's dad in a good way, and then there's moments when he's dad in a really awful way . . . but you've seen that, that's something that was--that's the precedent for that.

TVO: Magneto likes a little tough love.

TK: Yeah. But it's something that's not unfamiliar. I mean we've seen it in the feature films, and then the comic books, which is why it's a little with Tony Stark. This is new. This is not something's that's ever happened in any form. He's never been a nurturer.
GH: He's never been a dad.

TK: He's never had to step up and take on an entire alien role for him. And I'm not sure he was completely comfortable with it at all times, but he did it.

That was actually my interview with Tom Kane after Next Avengers.

Well BBC sort of forgot about it and they aren't saying jack crap. So no one knows the situations with X-men/BBC.
