Wolverine: Casting News & possible new pic.

More roles cast?

Aussie actor Conan Stevens (also a bodybuilder and wrestler) posted this on his official site.

I guess if casting is done they aren't ready to announce them yet.

There are plenty of UFC fighters on the juice. They dont' test for it.

UFC does test for steroid use. Just ask Sean Sherk and Steffan Bonnar - both having tested positive in the last year or so. Sherk's title is in jeopardy and Bonnar was fined and suspended.

I also met the casting agent for the new Wolverine movie though the parts were largely cast, but it is good for someone in Australia to have me on the books.

it's a shame he didn't get in on the casting earlier, a fight between him an Jackman would of been awesome

Another castmember rumor:

http://www.denverpost.com/ci_7476084?source=rss

In a 20-year career, actor Robert Knepper has played everything from Julia Roberts' husband in Woody Allen's "Everyone Says I Love You" (1996) to Robert F. Kennedy in "Jackie, Ethel, Joan: The Women of Camelot" (2001). But he didn't become famous until he created a murderous, racist pedophile named Theodore "T-Bag" Bagwell on the television series "Prison Break."

Since then, oozing charm and menace in equal amounts, Knepper has captured audiences worldwide. Not only is he starring in a big Hollywood film, "Hitman," set to open on Wednesday, but also he is rumored to be playing the next Bond villain, co-starring with Hugh Jackman in the "X-Men" spinoff "Wolverine" and starring in a remake of Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds" (1963).

What a difference a sneer makes.

i wish knepper would have been cast as wolverine from the get go... he would have slashed circles around jackman (not that jackman was bad... i thought he was good, but knepper would have perfect!) :(

funnily ive always thought hed be a cool gambit

Knepper's an awesome actor. I wish he would have been cast as The Joker.

Knepper is great as T-Bag. The man truly needs more work! Although I think he is old for Gambit, I'd love to see him in a comic book film.

I feel exactly the same way. His addition to this film is still awesome though, if it's true.

Since I am a huge Prison Break fan, it makes me happy to see Robert Knepper getting more film roles. He is a great actor. I really do hope that he gets a role in Wolverine, and him possibly being one of the next Bond villains makes me happy, as well.

This guy stands out in PB(good show). It was always something about him. He's a good actor. Good to see him picking up some film roles.

long time no talk retro ;)

you found out any scoops about possibilities of gambit in this flick?

He kol!! Blast from the past.:woot:

Other than what's been reported i haven't seen anything to suggest that Gambit is in this flick. And frankly i don't think he is.

As much as i like Remy i'd much rather they debut him in a X-Men team movie.

AICN claims that the scene they're planning shoot in New Orleans is not for Gambit.

Apparently they're planning to shoot in Australia, New Zealand and New Orleans... Variety hypothesizes that this means GAMBIT - but that's not the case. The New Orleans scene is basically a Mutant Only club scene with a bunch of insignificant Muties.

Mutant only club? in New Orleans? And is this supposed to rule out Gambit? :p

Anyway, I don't think they are showing gambit in a prequel like this... the only big characters should be those that can survive a long time...

Still, this New Orleans thing smeels like Jean Luc LeBeau...

maybe hes Morph....

A thieves guild scene? That would be interesting.:hyper:

Actress Kaily Alissano auditioned for a part in Wolverine. She doesn't say which one.

maybe hes Morph....
I liked Morph from the X-Men cartoon, but I can't see it being him. The 616-version of Morph never even met Wolverine, cool to have a cameo though.

She looks younger in other pics.

Karl Urban as Creed? Unconfirmed rumor from the imdb forums....

Rumour about casting

by amandaprice55 9 hours ago (Fri Nov 23 2007 05:32:05)

Rumour has it that Karl Urban is playing Gambit. He is apparently in talks.

Laila Rouass is playing Silverfox although their first choice was Alice Bragga

Leiv Schreiber is playing Stryker

Sounds bloody good to me. What do you people think?

Apparently, wolverine will have a brother but this will only be in flashbacks to their childhood. I was wrong about Karl Urban playing Gambit, he is in talks to play Victor Creed but they are trying to work around his Star Trek schedule. Laila Rouass has already met Hugh Jackman etc and they are now in talks. Leiv is def playing Stryker.
