Wolverine Reboot

I just hope that Danzig guy doesn't play Wolverine. He's crude and pretty horrible.

It's the little things, Jackamn as Wolverine, the Mystique make-up and the Rebecca Romijn cameo. They redid the opening of the first X-Men pretty much verbatim. Also some of the posters clearly using Stewart and McKellan''s silhouettes, and there's Vaughn and Singer saying that it is connected to the other X-Men movies, at least the Singer ones.

Great singer. But I wouldnt take him seriously as Wolverine. Id much rather just have Jackman be Wolverine forever than ever have Glenn Danzig as Wolverine

Why the **** havent we seen the mask yet? Weve seen Wolverine on film 5 times and each time... no mask. WTF.

:doh:why are we downgrading?

hugh is as good as fassbender and bale

but you want to replace him with a low rent tv actor?

might aswell replace bale with david boreanaz:dry:

OH GAWD!!!!! A TV ACTOR?!?! Why don't these people just tie us to a tree and beat us with a pillowcase filled with tangarines?!!!

:o

No, no, see, they will tie us to a tree, and then make us. . . watch TV. After all, we've established that there is *nothing* worse than a TV actor.

OOOHHH no, Glenn in his day would have been prime for this role... Matter of fact they actually hunted him out because he looked like wolverine. If it was not due to schedule conflict he would of most likely had the role, in the orginal x-men movie that is.

Yea he was super close be Wolverine. Singer wanted him and the studio wouldn't go for him unless he a screen test, but scheduling and all that.

Well, we all know that he would have played Wolverine "less gay" than Hugh Jackman. :o

LOL,,, I can not tell if your joking or not. He looks the part,no clue if he would have worked or not in the film..

Damn I had no idea of this,,, But im not sure I can see Gray in the role... Hey Glenn tells it likes he sees it I guess. I can see Glenn Danzig in the role just simply how he naturally is. From what i understand he was a huge fan of the comic.... lets face it the comic wolverine would have probably made the same statment.

Im not biased I really dont mind Jackman in the role.. Just not allot to work with as far as im concerned.

Cant believe people aer seriously discussing the idea of Danzig as Wolverine. I realize he was close to getting the role, but i cant imagine him being a good actor no matter how much of a comic fan he is.... especially not now hes definitely aged out. This topic wouldve been much more scintillating around 2000...

No Man, I agree.. Thats why I said "in his day",, I cant see him doing it now,, nor is it gonna happen. Well who knows but i seriously doubt it. Hes got his own thing going in the comic world. I dont want to speak for Danzig,, but I assume he wouldnt care for the role anyways with how the series went and/or is going..

A bit off-topic, but I read that Fox will bid adieu to Rothman by the end of the year. I'm glad he won't be around to screw up more Marvel movies.

i just hope the regime change means that we will get a rated R wolverine or at least a hardcore pg-13.. but then again, they have to sell toys, so...

Danzig does plenty of acting. You know, like in interviews when he pretends to be mysterious and dark. He is still pretty bad at it, though. He probably wouldn't have wanted to play up the superhero angle though at all, mind you - Danzig makes it very clear he doesn't like super-hero comics (although the video shows there are exceptions, I guess).

Jackman makes a great Wolverine - the dude is a very talented actor and I can't really see anyone else in the role.

m y favotirepart in x-men one when they inthe black bird wolviren sas you acullty go ouy side in these things cylclops says you rather have yelllow spandex

Glenn Danzing would make a terrible Wolverine. Can he even act? Besides that he is old(57 yrs old) and no way is he as in good as shape as Jackman. When Jackman came out with his new admantium laced skeleton in the Wolverine movie he was jacked!! I admit that back in the 90's that Danzig did have a look similar to Wolverine(both are hairy bastards), but Jackman is a great Wolverine.

The issue is with the studio and them toning down the violence, plus not staying true to the Marvel Universe set up in the comics. To make a great Wolverine movie it would require the studio to have the balls to allow an R-rated version of the movie. Too bad Darren Aronofsky bailed out as the director for the new Wolverine movie, because I am sure he would have made it darker than the Origins movie.

I am tired of hearing about reboots. It's always reboot this and reboot that. I would like to see studios just continue a movie with a new actor instead of rebooting it. This formula worked for the James Bond series. Every time there was a new Bond they didn't have devote the first half of the movie to explaining who he was. How many times do I gotta see how Peter Parker became Spiderman?

I've never been of fan of his wolverine.

he sounds way too light in the ass to me.

I'd like josh brolin in a reboot.
