Wolverine: The Official Set Photos Thread

They're filming X4?!!! X-Men Origins: Wolverine was a disguise all along! :p :p

Re: The Wolverine 'Costume' photo, the person in the photo said that "the photo was taken after his Jetboat ride during ‘off-time’."

In that case, Hugh Jackman has terrible fashion sense.

That is a bad looking leather jacket, lol. Maybe he did swipe it from the Wolverine production? Who knows :p

Perhaps he wore that jacket for protection against the water since he knew he would get wet on that boat ride - why would he wear a jacket in summer in New Zealand otherwise (the other two are wearing shorts).

This movie is going to be boring. We already had 3 Wolverine movies..

Feb 17 A scooper from Dunedin, New Zealand sent us this photo he took while crew for X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE were “filming all night until day break”!

The photo is of "shooting on top of a large cement water tank, which could be for a classic fight scene"!

The set was pretty cool. They had sealed off a fairly large section of the park and done it up as a carnival with lots of bright lights, some rides and a Ferris Wheel and various attractions. There were a lot of extras milling around in typical carnival attire such as mimes, clowns etc.

We made it past security and into the restricted area and were wandering around through the trailers and such but couldn't really get close enough to the set to see much, although we did go past Ralph Winter and John Palermo's trailers. We doubled back around and discovered there was an area where we could get quite a good view of the set and that was actually open to the public with security letting us stand quite close. Unfortunately all of the lights really messed up my camera and none of the photos turned out very well.

We saw someone who looked like Will.i.am from the Black Eyes Peas wearing a purple jacket and sporting an afro walking around the carnival set and conferring with the director, but what I found most interesting was the set dressing of the sideshow attraction. There was one that had a picture of a man with a beard in a top hat called Dr Freak advertising his freak show with a woman called 'Elastina' who I assume is going to be a mutant. There was also a three headed baby. It'll be interesting to see how this ties in to the film.

The Return of the King

LotR isn’t the only movie to be made in that area. In fact, on my ride I was taken past the “hot” set of the new X-men film “Wolverine.” Watch for a [BLACKOUT]farmhouse being blown up and a huge motorcycle stunt[/BLACKOUT] - I was there! No extra work unfortunately - I could’ve done, but I don’t have a work visa - gutted! Alas!

^Is it another video with no talking and Hugh in his street clothes?

20 pictures of the party in these two links - 10 in each - including one of Dominic. Other than Hugh, he's the only cast member in the pics.

I'm actually having a "discussion" with someone on another board who thinks filming is over because some of the pictures say "end of filming" under them and this person insists they wouldn't have a "wrap party" if the shoot wasn't over.

Sure, a Wolverine movie taking a month to film. Uh huh....

If it doesn't work, you can always blame the character Mastermind. The facial hair is a dead giveaway.

Could be just crazy like me. I always wear my leather jacket outside regardless of the temperatures for the most part. Of course the worst times I've only done so was only when it was about 117 degrees in Vegas and 100 degrees in western Washington State (who new the western part of the state could get to 100), but its still not a good idea. That and everyone looks at you like you're nuts.
