Wolverine VS. Sentinel clip

It's your opinion that it's stupid.

I think it definitely needs some touching up, but that's my opinion.

That's how opinions work.

No, some opinions are more valid than others. I can tell your opinion is less valid when you defend something like this, believe me. Maybe if you'd assess this clip fairly, your opinion would be warranted.

Assess this clip for acting, editing, sound, music, function, and cinematography, and context with the other films. It's lacking in every one of those areas. It's actually pretty ludicrous.

If you still like it, you like it because it's completely campy.

No opinion is more valid than another. Get over it.

Why not? According to you, you managed to reach that conclusion with only the meagerest of evidence to support you, that shows great intuition.

Why are you still on this?

I think we may see Sentinels outside of the DR, mainly because we have Trask, the creator of the Sentinels, in the movie. And not to mention he's a General in this movie.

It's funny because i agree with you, but i have not seen any arguement that could convince me that you're "right".

did i miss something?

But that doesn't make sense. Why does Trask being ther mean they'll be seen outside the danger room?

If that is so then why are there winners and losers? Why are some films made, some are not? Why do some films largely dissapoint and others don't? You fanboys will defend this movie to death but the general users on say IMDB will tear this apart. You can count on a negative public reaction from those who are more affluent film watchers. You can count on this film being rated more lowly. If you don't see the differences between this and X1 and X2, then you're not thinking about this.

X1 and X2 were trying to hold that little territory where the movie should seem to reasonably have a message and be produced well, reaching an audience ranging from children to families to the more sophisticated (who won't buy the movies but at least won't be in complete torture). This one throws the balance out the window. Parents are going to be more restless with this one, with the little care that went into that clip.

The acting was horrible, the music bad, it insultes the somewhat seriousness and worldlyness of the other films. No wonder originally they didn't want to throw the simulator into the movie. They thought about what would make sense in the film, and Ratner thinks about what would be "cool" in the film.

A film pays attention to detail. You can't just say "ok that sucked and that didn't really work in context with the rest of the scenes, but it was redeemed later by Sentinals appearing again blah blah blah." No serious film ****e is going to listen to that crap. They have a chance to fix the film, to redeem themselves, but cutting things out and not screwing the movie up in the first place.

Because he created the Sentinels... My theory is that he'll try and convince the President to do some drastic measures to get rid of the mutant threat.

Anyways, it's just what I think. My theory. I'm not trying to pass it off as fact. I don't see why you care so much about it.

I'm gonna answer that one too.

you see , i don't think sentinels are in the movie at the end:There is already too much going on , and if earlier in the movie ,soldiers have chased the brotherhood , i dunno why they could not do it later in the movie.

but Trask and ( one) Sentinel in the same movie is really pushing it if they are not connected ..and even more , when one know that in the prequel Game Trask is their creator..

So , i disagree with Worthy yep , but there is a logic that i can understand there..

sadly , i assume that the filmmakers doesn't care..but i could be wrong obviously.

Okay, you're just too foolish to talk too about this:(

The movie hasn't come out yet, so we can't have a final judgment on it till it does.

And anyways, your 'winners and losers' theory doesn't work in this case. It's a fact if someone wins a race, or if one hockey team beats another hockey team.

These are OPINIONS. Not everyone will have the same.

Why do people have different favorite actors? Different favorite music? It's all a matter of personal taste. Opinions. That's what they call it.

It shouldn't matter what other people think about the movie. You're the only person who can decide if you like it or not.

And yes, actually, the Sentinel head upped my opinion of the scene. MY OPINION.

But they can be connected in the danger room scene quite easily, nothing to peg them at the end.

doesn't Beast work for the president........ couldn't it be possible that trask is developing these new weapons, and beast may stumble upon it, he tells the proffessor about these new weapons might be a possible threat in the future, so proffessor X has the s-men go into the danager room, and he has a suprise for them, a sentinel..... he wants to show them what the future may hold if peace does not happen soon, just MO

Yup, that was exactly my theory sometimes ago..

but i dunno , i think the possibility that Trask is in fact asking for martial law is already a lot ( and again we don't know what kind of weapon have the army after X2 )

Trask created the sentinels.

The sentinels are in the danger room.

work it out.

Yeah, well I'm stupid.

Tell me how you think that works out.

OWNED!

Seriously...That was some terrible piece of direction, special effects...everything was lame...Ill be so disappointed if thats all we`re going to see of the Sentinels in the movie...

That was just terrible. It looked like a B-movie. I hate the fact Ratner played with comedy regarding the Sentinels and the fastball special.

Now, Superman Returns, on the other hand, looks amazing...But i still have hope for X-men 3....

:(

Ugh, people like you annoy me. You know as much as Worthy knows. He's allowed to have a theory just as much as you are.

Stop trying to be a know-it-all. :o

Trask creates sentinels, Xavier gets word of it, puts em in the danger room.

Ok, X-men 1 wasn't really an important film, but it was nice, relevant on the issue of acceptance, and relatively respectful.

This film won't be missed.

This new movie looks like it will be the "Matrix Revolutions" of the franchise. It will upset more moviegoers than it needs to. It upsets people in film school like me who sit there and bust their nuts learning about film, and then watch a lot of these films are realize how much better we can do. Except they wouldn't listen to us because we don't have 10 millions dollars. :down
